DH, Great to hear that you love our subs!(NOT ANYMORE FOR THE PRICE AND ON TOP OF THAT YOU GUYS SWITCHED TO THE SAME CRAPPY INHOUSE BREAD MACHINE LIKE SUBWAY,EWWW)... Sorry that you think that we are greedy(YES, YOUR COMPANY IS 100% GREEDY). Did you know that every year your local Jersey Mikes raises tens of thousands of dollars for local charities,( WHAT CHARITIES? AND ARENT YOU JUST DOING THAT TO OFFSET PROFITS LIKE EVERY OTHER COMPANY?) and Jersey Mikes on a national level raised over 6.5 million dollars for select charities this year alone? (WHICH SELECT CHARITIES? THE ONES THAT JERSEY MIKES CEOS OWN??) All by donating 100% of our sales on March 27th, our Day of Giving. (YOU MEAN "100% OF PROFIT" FROM "SALES", NOT "NET SALES")...PLUS A "DAY OF GIVING" WOULD BE MUCH MORE HELPFUL IF YOU JUST GAVE OUT FREE SANDWICHES TO PEOPLE ON THAT DAY TO ACTUALLY HELP INSTEAD OF PRETENDING TO "GIVE" TO CHARITY) We have done this every year for the past 11 years and will continue to do so.(OBVIOUSLY, CAUSE IT HELPS YOU WITH YOUR TAXES...WOULD BE MUCH BETTER RECEIVED TO ACTUALLY HELP THE PEOPLE IN NEED IN YOUR COMMUNITY BY GIVING FREE FOOD) We would love to be able to produce our subs for only $2.00 a piece, after all of our expenses(IM NOT TALKING ABOUT AFTER ALL EXPENSES, IM SIMPLY TALKING ABOUT FOOD COSTS....YES 3BUX PROLLY AT MOST, ESPECIALLY WITH AS THIN AS THE MEAT AND CHEESE IS BEING SLICED NOW, SHEESH), including the service provided by team members, whom are all paid %20 to %40 more than minimum wage.(HAHA, 20-40% OVER 7.25 IS NOT ALOT, ITS LIKE 8.50-10BUX..YOU THINK SOMEONE CAN LIVE ON 10BUX AN HOUR??LETS SEE YOU TAKE HOME 10BUX AN HOUR, actually 7-8 after taxes, SO PLEASE WITH THAT) Hardly greedy at all.(DEFINITELY...
Read moreThis was the worst experience (11/18/24, evening). I've ever had at a Jersey Mike's. The food was terribly made and the staff so rude I was shocked (we had to toss our sandwiches). I will certainly never go to this one again and I am debating never giving my business to the chain ever again, although the stores near me in the Raleigh, NC area make great sandwiches and are always so nice!
The saying, "the customer is always right" was not followed here and the staff was rude and did not offer to remedy the problem. We had to drive a little bit further (we'd been on the road for hours) so didn't discover the inedible mess they made for us until we arrived at our destination about 20 minutes later.
My husband called and asked to speak to a manager, and I'm pretty sure the staff just passed the phone around amongst them. If it was a manager we spoke with I'm even more shocked.
The wraps they made for us were so soaked in oil and vinegar that they essentially turned the wraps to mush. We had to toss them. I said "just give me a little oil & vinegar" and he was heavy handed anyway, and I said (evidently too quietly) "that's enough". But he had already put too much on. For my husband I said make it Mike's way, and he was super heavy handed again on the oil & vinegar. That is NOT Mike's way. I've been to many Jersey Mike's over the years and have never had anyone so heavy handed.
This is where it went from bad to worse. The person we spoke with said it was OUR FAULT for not saying something right away and asking to have our sandwiches remade. And they said the sandwiches were made the way WE ASKED. Oh no no no! I didn't know how bad things were until we unwrapped them to eat. Who would ever want wraps so soaked in vinegar & oil?? They were not offering to give us our money back or new sandwiches as we had already left the premises. We asked for the managers name, said we were going to report this to Jersey Mike's corporate offices, and she literally just hung up without giving us her name!!! (And no we were not yelling or anything on the phone.)
I'm am shocked. This was the one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. I will be reporting it to the corporate office.
Steer clear. I strongly DO NOT recommend...
Read moreI am staying in the inlet this month, as we always come down in the beginning of the fall. We got in late last night and were starving, so much so that my little ones would not stop complaining and started crying at the mention of late night cereal at our Airbnb. So we decided to take a chance and save the grocery shopping for a day, even though I’m keen to support the Food Lion as often as we can. They’ve always done right by us.
As a native New Yorker, I’m always skeptical of culture vulture corporations using the Northeast to brand food products. But let me tell you something. Jersey Mike’s Subs is the real deal. I went to the Inlet location yesterday for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised.
The subs were incredible. Perfect balance of meat, cheese, veggies and sauce (I think they call it Mike’s Way?). One more thing. The service was excellent. When I walked in, I was helped by a kind older gentleman and a girl with no hair or a shaved head (who seemed like an anarchist or socialist or something) but turned out to be very nice and attentive to the particulars of my order. Again, extremely nice and friendly for an anarchist. I was pleasantly surprised. She and her older colleague are truly “a sub above.”
Jersey Mike, I’m not sure who you are, but you have won over a loyal customer. I will be returning often. My only regret is that I do not have a Jersey Mike in...
