I was visiting the gym next-door and as I was walking up to the door the delicious smell of something good cooking was wafting through the air. As I followed the smell I walked into the cutest little Mediterranean style cafe. I was not expecting it to be so welcoming! It's much roomier than it appears to be on the outside. The three sisters (owner/chef) I met while waiting for my order were so beautiful and personable. I ordered the spicy chicken wrap which was not really spicy (of which I was duly informed upon ordering it) that came with a side salad. I chose the pear salad. The food came out very quickly and I was going to take it home to eat it but I couldn't wait. It was so delicious, healthy and filling! The pear with the homemade poppyseed dressing was a perfect combination with spinach and pecans (😘) and the wrap with thick white warm tender chicken was seasoned perfectly. I wish I had one right now! I will definitely be going back to eventually try everything on the menu. Definitely a hidden gem💎💎💎💎💎 My pictures are not the best this time, next time I will do better with the pics. This restaurant has an A rating and...
Read moreJilla's is a wonderful addition to the Little River area. The food is freshly prepared to perfection and I mean that. Jilla won't serve it if it doesn't meet her standards and her standards are high! The smoothies are great and you can choose from cow's milk, almond milk or cashew milk. The sandwiches come with a generous side salad and the prices are very reasonable, actually quite low for the love and care that goes into the meals they serve. There is limited seating and it can get busy,. Service can be on the slow side but simply because almost everything, even the salad dressing, is made to order. I recommend the Baba Ganoush appetizer, the goat cheese salad, and the veggie wrap. There are vegetarian, vegan and meat eating options. The menu changes by the week, with some staples...
Read moreA little hard to find hidden in a strip mall next to a karate dojo, but worth the effort. My wife and I were looking for a lighter meal and thought Mediterranean would fit the bill. We stumbled into a jem. One of the sisters waited on us and attentively listened to my wife's long list of food sensitivities. She then explained how everything was made to order and gave my wife some suggestions. My wife settled on the veggie rap and a salad. She really liked her meal. I had the quiche of the day, which was broccoli cheddar and a salad. I also very much enjoyed my meal. I also got a piece of baklava to go. It went well with some coffee later in the evening. I recommend stopping in and giving this place a try. I think you may find...
