Went here a little while ago, the guy was really rude. He was on his phone and there were no customers in there, it was middle of the day so they weren’t just opening or about to close.
We tried to ask him a question and he just looked at us annoyed, no answer. Then I forgot to ask him if he could skin the salmon for us (we feed the skin to our dog) and he rolled his eyes and loudly sighed like we were a bothering him. Smacked the salmon down loudly. The shop we went to before offered to skin it for us so we didn’t think much of it.
Even after that he had weighed the salmon with the skin he didn’t even let us keep the skin. He didn’t speak to us at all and made it known he didn’t want to be there. This was our 2nd time going to any market so we were already unaware how to order and...

My husband and I decided to visit to look for some seafood, the gentleman working greeted us with “how can I help you” and continued to be on his phone for about 5-7 minutes until he realized we needed help selecting fish, he let us know they had no whole fish and only were selling fillets. We decided to get a 1lb of red snapper filet for $22, once getting home to cook it, it had a STRONG fish smell that was extremely pungent, and upon cooking the fish it also tasted VERY fishy, literally inedible. We threw it all away because both of us could not stomach it. We have had red snapper before and it never tasted like this. Very disappointed in service and quality of the fish. Went out of my way to visit here because I heard they had a good selection. Typically I’m not petty enough to write a review but the guy Aaron who works here is maybe the most miserable person in Greenville. I moved here recently and love how friendly this city is, but not this guy.
Who knew someone could be so condescending over a pound of salmon, you’d think he was a Michelin star chef/personal fisherman combo. Luckily his mom (assuming) came in with a friendly smile because I was just about to leave while he was bagging up my food. After the fourth dramatic sigh while he was ringing up my credit card, I finally asked the lady his name for this review.
