I have never had to wait 45 minutes on fast food for an order for two people until tonight. Half the drive thru was closed. We got in line only to have an an employee come out and tell us they were only accepting cash and no cards at the drive thru window and that we would have to come inside to use a card. We went inside and saw people standing everywhere holding receipts but no one getting food. We placed our order at the self service kiosk at 9:06 pm because there were no employees taking orders at the counter. There were 10 orders ahead of ours. We stood there and watched as food piled up and sat out near the bagging area but the employees were not bagging food or getting it out to customers who waited 30+ minutes on food. What they were bringing out had wrong orders in the bags, missing food, cold food and we watched as multiple order numbers appeared on the screen as "being prepared now" and then would disappear as customers continued to wait and several had to ask more than once where there food was. During this time a black female employee who was dressed as someone who may have been a manager came from behind the counter and said "I dont have time for this hot mess" and stormed out the front door. She later returned and a customer ask if she could give her an idea on the wait time and her response was "You can either place your order and stay and wait or dont, I'm not telling you how long the wait's going to be so you decide if you want to order" and that customer left. We finally saw our number appear on the board 45 minutes later only to see it disappear as well. We had to ask where our food was several times. An employee took our receipt and said she would prepare our order then she brings us a bag of food that had food we did not order and was missing food that we had ordered. We watched her bag our food again with our receipt in hand and the order was still wrong. She bagged our food once again and fixed our ice coffee and when we got to the car, the iced coffee was not sweet at all so I went back inside to have it remade. After being there waiting and having to have our order fixed several times once we got home we still were missing part of our order, had fries completely unsalted, and one of the burgers as well as a filet o fish could not be eaten because the bun was so hard from where it sat out for so long before we received it. The employees did not seem to care what was going on, the manager had already made it clear she didn't care and it showed in the service and lack of quality in the food. The restaurant was filthy, smelled horrible and no one in the time we were there ever refilled any of the empty tea containers even though customers complained that there was no tea available in the lobby. I had an order they messed up and I was in drive thru, I had to turn around and come back into the drive thru and I stopped at the first window then proceeded to the second window and then was asked to pull forward and I politely said I would like to not have to pull forward and the manager (Crystal) was very rude and came to the window yelling that I the customer was a nuisance and an idiot and kept on for about 2 minutes calling me names. I was then approached by another person who comes out and starts cursing at me and I asked them do they always talk too their customers like this? They continued to call me a idiot and other names, so I requested a refund and she refused. Then they tried to give me the burger but st that time being cursed out, called names I just wanted a refund. They did call the Authorities on me because I did refuse to leave the drive thru lane until I got my refund of my sandwich, I offered and implied that they can keep the difference for the fries and drink on my combo because I did eat my fries and drunk out of the drink. The end result I didn’t get my refund because the officers said the Manager said they don’t do refunds. I had asked for the District or a franchise owner number they refused. Well I got the number to call from another operation and I left the complaint. No one working there that day was nice or understanding and if employees talk to customers that way and the manager leading by example the Manager should be suspended and retrained along with the employees. I would say terminated but she would only continue to do it somewhere else and ruin some qualified associates with her rudeness and bad behavior, and it’s not the employees fault. I would suspend her 2 weeks without pay and for as the associates they need to be suspended for 2 days and brought back under another Manager and retrained the correct procedures for handling customers, not cursing them out or calling them name...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. This is probably the worst by far MCDONALDS I’ve been to. I am also a manager for MCDONALDS and have been managing for about six years and a half. My husband and my family decided to stop by here to get some food and we order four items only and we waited for almost 30 minutes!!! This is rediculous!!! For 3 frappes and a medium fry doesn’t take 30 minutes to make and serve. Not just that but the card reader stopped working and the manager on duty obviously didn’t know how to fix it. Another gentleman she has ask to come and see if he knew how to fix it. Seriously if the both are you are managers and knows nothing about managing and running shifts and fixing problems and satisfying your customers, please just quit already. I was telling them that they had to restart the card reader by holding the green and the red buttons. I asked if there was another register up front that they can just void off my items and re ring them back on a different computer. They said no that this was the only register available. Well of course I know but I know you can also grab another register because the lobby was full and was all waiting on us because they could not get the card reader working. I know and I understand that sometimes things like this happens with the card reader but for a manager not understanding and knowing what to do when something like happens is rediculous. I ask was he a manager and someone in front told me know that they think he’s training to be. Seriously who is managing the floor?!
