McDonald's — Restaurant in South Carolina

We will never again be using any services that your McDonald’s location on Highway 81 near Interstate 81 in South Carolina. Although we used to be frequent customers at your location, that will no longer be true. We are choosing NEVER to return to your location. While we were there today, we observed a filthy store, poor ways to order food, and, most importantly of all, extremely rude, slovenly, and unknowledgeable employees. All three employees were dressed in unprofessional clothing. What happened to the attractive uniforms? One female employee appeared to be no more than thirteen. A more mature English-speaking cashier appeared to not understand what light ice meant. (We resorted to saying “not much ice” and for heavy ice we had to say “fill up the cup with ice, then dispense the drink.) She completely messed up the drink order! Did she not understand those common terms at a fast-food restaurant. In addition, her comments to us were very rude and lacking in essential training.

As both services and food have declined in McDonald’s quality, many former customers are seeking other choices. McDonald’s cost-cutting decisions will cause even more disgruntled customers, especially as you see the critical way most Americans now view McDonald’s nationwide. (You might want to take a look at both MacDonald’s websites’ feedbacks and observe the scathing comments about MacDonald’s downward spiral on Facebook and other popular sites.)

Incidentally, your “Which dishes do you recommend?” needs to add “or None!” That’s the choice we and most customers will be adding.

How sad to see one of America’s best fast food franchises rapidly losing its reputation and clientele over choices that a more savvy management would...

I visited this location twice in a row, Saturday, December 11, 2021 and again on Sunday, December 12, 2021around 7 pm. Both nights had different crew members working in which the outcome of my order was not the same. On 12/11/21, the cashier was very friendly and my order was precise and given to me in timely manner. On the other hand, on 12/12/21, I was told to pull in a to-go- parking space and that someone would bring out my order shortly to me. My order was placed at 7:10 pm. I ended up waiting over 15 minutes in my car before going inside to ask for a refund when I seen more cars at the drive- thru that were leaving with their orders. When I entered the restaurant, my order was not ready at all. I don't even think that they had started on it?!! They were more customers lined up to place their orders and the male front line cashier called to the back to ask the manager (a woman) to come up to the front because she was needed (he seen that I was standing there holding my receipt, yet she did NOT come to the counter).The male cashier ended up giving me a refund.The night could have went by better if the crew members that were working, worked together as a team, there was no order, no unity, seemed like chaos, and a lack of leadership. I am not sure if I will return...

Came to get a large mocha frappe and 10 piece and fry. I get up to window 1 and pay for my order. I get to window 2 to get my food and they apparently are out of mocha. So he asked if we wanted something in replacement, the guy said i could get a $1.00 fry, nuggets, strawberry pie, apple pie. And then proceeds to tell me they can’t give me that so I’ll have to get a refund(which is what I wanted) so then he comes back to the window and tells me he can’t give me a refund because the women is busy. So he asked what we wanted so I said chicken nuggets, this boy hands me a 6 piece nugget. I told him I’d rather just have a refund because a frappe is 4 dollars a 6 piece is 1.89. I just want my money back and so he goes and gives me a small fry, he doesn’t ask what I want or says “here” he just shoved the fry to me. So I just leave because I don’t got time to argue about it. I just want to let everyone else to know. So I got home open my McNuggets I ordered and there is only 8 in there. This is the 3rd time I’ve went to this McDonald’s and gotten nuggets and didn’t receive 10. So when you order your nuggets count them before you pull off because you probably don’t have what...
