Call them before you drive to their Donut shop!!!

So I wake up yesterday (Friday morning) earlier than normal to take my 11 year old to go to Rainbow Donuts before school. I checked google maps to be sure that they were open which it said they were. We drove all the way there (out of our way to her school) at 7:30 AM only to find out they were closed. We went there to buy 2 dozen donuts for her class to celebrate her birthday. She was so upset as she was so excited to be doing this for her friends and teachers. Since you have a google business account please keep your hours updated and Stay consistent with them. If you had an emergency or whatever take the extra 1 minute and update your hours so people will not drive all the way to your shop to find out you are closed. We really like your donuts but We will probably not be back for a while. York needs another donut shop to compete with you and to give customers additional options. A new donut shop that has consistent hours with just as good if not better donuts. You can look back on this review later and only blame yourself for allowing and inviting competition due to your lack of care and follow up for your customers. This is a hidden gem right in York, SC. It is on Highway 5 across from the Animal Shelter and Justice Center. Brightly painted building, good parking. We got a dozen, each different. OH MY! These doughnuts rival "that other place" that makes the yeast doughnuts WITHOUT the ridiculous prices. Seriously, some of the best I have ever eaten. Super fresh, very large size and the filled ones were bursting with filling. The store was super clean, the staff was friendly and attentive, product selection in pristine clean case, easy to see everything. They have a separate dining area. This place is absolutely adorable. Imagine a first date with your crush. Now imagine this happening anywhere else . Okay. You are making a mistake.

The decor is absolutely delightful and gives so much delight to the atmosphere that I am still enthralled. Delightful pastels surround the store and marry with the multitude of designer donuts on display. The menu is a bit eclectic but successfully satisfies both the curious and comfort seeking, with boba teas, smoothies, donuts, and classic deli and smash burgers and such.
