Taqueria Dos Hermanos Restaurante Mexicano — Restaurant in South Carolina

This was probably the best Mexican food I've eaten. Definitely authentic, and delicious.

Update: I had to come back here and drop a couple stars after my visit today. The food is still great, but they don't have enough people working there or something because we had to wait about 30 minutes for our bill when we were done eating. 10 minutes after we were finished eating, I tried to get a to go plate for our uneaten food. The waitress didn't even wait for me to ask her anything. She just said she would be with me in a minute, and then proceeded to ignore us for the next 20 minutes. Eventually, she went to the register and just yelled across the restaurant at us that she was ready. Like, all of a sudden, me paying my bill was inconveniencing her! LOL! I still gave a great tip because the food was great and the waitresses looked overwhelmed, but I doubt we will ever go back. I don't need that kind of attitude when I am trying to enjoy a lunch with my family.

If you are going to eat here, I suggest you put aside at least an hour or an hour and a half to complete the experience. They were quick to get us fed, but then held us hostage...

The restaurant and food are alright but the service is extremely slow and doesn't seem like they know what's going on. It was empty on a Friday night, which is already a bad sign. The waitress asked us what ice cream we wanted so we answered vanilla and she replied "we only have strawberry". When I went to pay I saw a huge selection of ice cream. We weren't given silverware with our food and had to go up and ask for it. I asked what an item was that they were promoting at their table and she said "I don't know". To put the icing on the cake, I bought a tiny lollipop for my daughter and they charged me $5!! Go to El Patio or the place...

Service can be hit or miss recently, it used to be excellent but the lady who always took care of us doesn’t seem to be there anymore. However, the food is by far the best Mexican in the area. We come from a big city up north where we had numerous options for Mexican food so we are pretty picky. They make their guac right as you order it, their salsa is fresh.
