Bamboo Chinese restaurant — Restaurant in Conway

This is nowhere near the greatest American Chinese food I've had in the US, but gosh darn is it the best I've had in Myrtle Beach and all of Horry County.

I only had the General Tso's, Pork Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon, Teriyaki Chicken, Pork Egg Roll, and Spring Roll so far, but it was amazing. The General Tso's wasn't mushy and soupy; it was soft and tender. The Crab Rangoon was actually filled! The Chicken wasn't overly sauced and burnt, but super tender and savory. The Pork Fried rice wasn't that grossly bland yellow rice that's used everywhere else in Myrtle Beach, but REAL rice.

I do have a few critiques:

Please add an option when ordering to make the General Tso's Chicken spicy. Mine almost had no heat at all, but the flavor was fantastic. For the Spring Roll and Egg Roll, I actually loved the flavor as much as the Spring Rolls and Egg Rolls I has up north growing up. Only complaint is that the filling in the Spring and Egg roll was a little mushy. Maybe cut the filling a little larger so they still have some crunch.

Even if you don't make these changes, as long as the quality stays at this level, you will have me as a customer going forward and I look forward to trying...

Great chinese buffet ! They have a fantastic selection ! I had to go back another day to sample the entirety of food ! The only complaint is you pay before you eat so they upcharge you for gratuity which kneecaps your waitress if she is a good one , i like to tip good waitstaff more than the traditional 15% but when the establishment takes it up front ,if you receive bad service youve paid , if you receive good service its not paid enough but because they took it instead of me giving it , well i just dont feel obligated to reach into my pocket again because if i received bad service they arent goin to refund a portion of the tip ! Nice restaurant, bad pay tip up...

Not very impressed with this place. It's a shame because it's right across the street. I figured I'd give it another try since the first time was nothing to write home about. I ordered beef with mixed vegetables. I pretty much just got mixed vegetables. If these people don't figure it out quickly they won't make it too far past their grand opening.
