Pizza Town — Restaurant in South Carolina

Long but worth it. We were unaware that it had changed owners from Foxs Den, and had stayed away because the previous place was subpar pizza, and we are pizza SNOBS. So when I saw the name change while at the grocery store, I decided to give it a try again. Boy am I glad we did!!! The food in this place is LEGIT! The pizza crust is close to perfect. Crisp but tender enough to do a professional crust fold. No grease falling out. Top notch sauce and ingredients. My husband does Strombolis and he is usually never impressed. He was VERY HAPPY. We got two salads for the family to split and they were beautiful, huge salads. Top notch ingredients again, and very pleasing to the eye. We got the chef salad and the buffalo chicken salad. My oldest daughter is the spicey queen and she loved the buffalo sauce. Nice spice AND good flavor. The blue cheese dressing was the good kind (not the cheap kind) and the bread sticks were delicious. AND THEY DELIVER!! We will make this our new favorite pizza place and highly suggest you visiting here. While there picking it up, I noticed they also have affordable specials with by the slice pizza and drink included lunch special....and ALL the prices are reasonable for the quality food. BRAVO!! Finally a pizza restaurant that makes us happy. Should have taken pics but we dug in so fast and didnt want to post half eaten pics. Lol 😆 I will do...

We usually love Pizza town and I understand having to wait. But waiting over 40 minutes for a carry out order when you see people coming and going and getting their food. I finally went up to the girl who took my order and asked how much longer because it had been 40 minutes. She turned around to 2 box sitting on top of the oven. I asked if they had been sitting there awhile and she replied, “no, they just came out a few minutes ago”. I could tell they had been sitting there for a little while. Even the couple at the table across from us who came in, ordered more than 20 after us, got their food, and was Finished before we got ours, mentioned she noticed the boxes sitting on top of the oven for awhile. There was literally one other table in the restaurant, there is no excuse to make myself and my 3 year old wait over 40 minutes...

082923 - ordered a small meat lovers pizza & a cheese & pepperoni Stromboli & I picked it up. Place looked nice from the outside, small strip mall that looked like an old west building. I wasn't impressed by what I saw of the dining area, looked "cold", hard & uncomfortable tables & chairs. Employee who waited on me wasn't rude but was friendly either if that makes sense. My first bite of the pizza I thought I cut a slice of the card board box. Very thin, Bland, not much meat. I've never had meatballs (sliced, not round) on a pizza & I never will again. the person who had the Stromboli said it was good & it did look good. In a town by a college with a bunch of pizza places I don't plan on going back...
