The Goat Bar & Grill — Restaurant in South Carolina

Walked in and there was no instructions on where to sit or if the employees would sit you. Finally took a seat. Someone walked up a minute later asked for our drinks. I looked around and was nervous because no one else In the restaurant ordered food everyone was just buying drinks. Well we ordered food didn't take too long I got buffalo chicken sandwhich and it had no spice it wasn't fried and taste like rubber it was aweful I literally took 1 bite. I also got onion rings and they weren't even cooked just raw onions. waitress came back and I said I was done after taking one bite I said " It wasn't good." she said okay took it away didn't apologize or anything. and then billed me for the meal. my friend got a burger and it was also cooked poorly and tasteless. there's also a smoking section in the restaurant and it wreaks of smoke. DONT VISIT HERE. NEGATIVE 3...

We stopped in this morning for breakfast. We waited a while before anyone acknowledged us being there. We arrived at 9:54 am. Finally got our order in, then at 10:28 am the manager came over to tell us that they had messed up our order. Okay we had already wanted to know what was going on!! We got an excuse about the fact that they couldn’t handle 5 people coming in! The blonde behind the counter was extremely rude to me when I asked about our food, and the waitress that took our order seemed as if she needed to be home and not in public with the way she acted. I work as a server myself in an upscale Italian restaurant in Charlotte. So I somewhat could sympathize with them, but for a liver mush, egg, and cheese sandwich, it shouldn’t had taken 30 mins. Unfortunately the location of this bar/restaurant has had a few different themes in it over the last 2 years.

The Goat has a ton of TVs all around the walls which are typically tuned to sports type channels. There is usually not a crowd at lunch nor at dinner.

The downside is that there is a revolving door of waitstaff and typically only one on duty to help run the bar and the food orders too. Typical wait times to be greeted or served vary greatly.

The food is sup par. We have now been here about 8 times in 3 months to try to give them a chance since they are local. Sandwiches look as if my little brother made them. French fries came with enough salt that we actually gagged and had to send them back. Then new food came out under cooked with the wrong items.

I Honestly cannot see this place staying...
