On 4/23 around 6:30 pm , My kids and I decided to try this restaurant. It was a Friday night at dinner and the place was busy. The hostess was not able to find us a table inside but offered one in the patio. As we sat we were served the chips and the menu. 20 minutes later no one had come to our table to get our drinks and food menu. I understood as it was busy and did not mind waiting , however what had happen next was what broke the camel's back. The hostess sat three young ladies almost next to our table, as us they were served the chips and menu. To my surprise almost immediately after they were handed the chips the male server comes out and starts taking their order. Again I was a no expecting that but thought that its ok we will be taken care of soon. The male server finishes taking the order and starts talking to another family and looks our way. I thought perhaps he will now ask us. I was wrong as soon as he stops talking to the family totally ignores our table and disappears. I was in a good mood and decided to wait a little longer to give the benefit of doubt. A few minutes later the same male server comes out, heads to the young ladies table and informs them they are out of an item. At this point I stopped him and asked if he can help us. And his response was a server will be with you. In my mind i responded no they are not, its been 25 minutes and no one has come, and these ladies came way after us and have their order in already. You would think he would at least get our drink order in, but no. SO I told my kids to pack up and go. I did want to tell the manager of the incident. So I head towards the bar ask one of the employees who the manager was, and guess who it is? Yes, that is right that eager male server that was so attentive to the young ladies table was in charge. Now you would think a manager is there to listen to the customer and try to find a way to resolve the matter and make the experience more pleasurable so you want to come back. No sir, not here. He basically said that I see it my way and he sees it his way and I wouldn't understand. I was speechless at that point I thought to myself does the owner know who you are? Unfortunately for Los Aztecas, I live in this area and I am very active with the community. So yes I will never ever set foot in your establishment again, and make sure i share my experience with others Fortunately for us we have a few more Mexican restaurant nearby that are eager to take our business. Señor Owner of Aztecas do not blame me for my bad experience, thank your Manager. Perhaps is time you should...
Read moreI have been going to Los Aztecas since it was a new resturant in the strip mall where the neighborhood Wal-Mart used to be.
On Sunday I ordered my typical order for my daughter and I. The order came to over $30 for two entrees and a cheese dip. We take our food home and dive in to discover that entrees that typically have no spice are so spicy that they are inedible to us.. I call the resturant and talk to Brian who assures me that we can come get our meals for free at our discretion.
I figured today I would make my life easy and reorder the food so I could skip cooking. I call up, place my order and mention my credit. The man on the phone offers me a free cheese dip and after some explaining back and forth he hands the phone over to the GM. I explain to the GM that Brian promised me I would not have to repay for food I didn't eat. I was told in no uncertain terms that they do not allow people to scam them out of food and if I wanted food I needed to pay for it. Again I explained that I didn't eat the first meal and am not paying over $30 again. Jose continued to imply that I was lying for free food and I had eaten the first meal.
After so many times being told how they don't "provide free food to scammers" I had enough. I went home, grabbed the trash bag full of rotted food and brought it back for them to see I indeed did not eat the food. Tactless? Maybe. But so is insinuating that your customer is trying to scam you out of free food.
I was a lifetime customer but now will never go back. And I will tell anyone who asks about my experience as well. Maybe they can learn a lesson about how to...
Read moreSo tonight was my fourth time eating at this place since we have moved to Fort Mill. The first time I decided to eat here it was because it was convenient and it was on my way home, but it definitely wouldn't be my last.As far as service in this place,it has been great and the food is pretty awesome too and very consistent every time I have dined there.I usually order the Chili Verde with steak,it comes with rice and refried beans which are pretty awesome.I have had Chorizo Fondito also for an appetizer and it is awesome as well.Their tacos are also great and have loads of cheese on them and it's always enough food to fill you up and have some to take home. This place is a friendly environment and has something for everyone if you like Mexican cuisine. The picture of the hot sauce that I provided is something that they carry, but you have to ask for it,and it is really hot but has a great flavor. If you're ever in the area stop by and give it a try,you will be welcomed with smiling faces and...
