Waffle House — Restaurant in South Carolina

I will not be coming back to this location. Me and my boyfriend planned to have a nice lunch and then go to an arcade after. We had a gift card we wanted to use as partial payment and knew since it’s the age of split payments it would be doable. We had barely received all of our ordered food when the waiter asked for us to pay for our food because they were getting off the clock (I’d like to mention 20 minutes after we left they were still there on the clock working, so this just made me feel rushed). When we asked to do the split payment it was a back and forth disagreement on it because he didn’t know how to do it and didn’t want to admit it and ask for help from a manager. After I had paid for it in full on my card, leaving the gift card unused because of this disagreement/argument, the waiter brought out our waffle burnt, almost the color black of the table burnt. Now I don’t expect much for Waffle House but it would’ve been nice not to have left hungrier than we came. I’d like to also mention not once did he check on us before asking us to pay before that. I’m even more livid that we were left to wash down the filth with nothing as we never received a refill on our drinks. I’d also like to say as soon as we walked in the door it was a ghost town, everyone quickly ran to the back leaving the poor guy who was supposed to be getting off to take care of us. Horrible service now since the renovation! Will be going to a different one...

I can't wait to The Waffle House on Highway 52 Moncks Corner is complete I saw a piece of the building two days ago and it is awesome nothing like a fresh restaurant to go eat some of these Waffle Houses like the one on 17A it's barely that old it's not even that old and it looks like he'll in there they don't clean that place it looks like it's been there a hundred thousand years like some of them waffle houses around the Lowcountry why don't they clean their buildings and freshen them up like they should can't wait I wish they were putting the Waffle House in Moncks Corner the one in Moncks Corner already we don't eat at because of the manager the big humongous man begins with a W he is very very very rude very rude he curses most people if you curse a customer or tell him to get the F out of your restaurant that's grounds for to be fired but the lady over here she didn't fire him a lot of people don't eat their no more some of these people been so long in a company that they're beginning to be rude and that's not nice I would never tell anybody to get the F out of my restaurant and don't come back anymore I change your mind and want to eat somewhere else and I just decided he's somewhere else you just don't cuss me because I want to eat...

My personal experience with this location is absolutely horrid. Every time I order from this establishment they always mess up my order every single time it has not failed and I will have to take my food back or it is just sit and deal with it. Today I was ordering some food and normally I don't pay as much as the young lady gave me so I was trying to be respectful. What people calling in on her side of the phone and people talking in her background she just caught a attitude. Now I will give you the benefit of the doubt because I'm going through things as well as being a human being on this Earth but don't put your frustration out on me and which this young lady did when I ask to speak to the manager she breathes manager before I even spoke to her so when I spoke to the manager she started acting ghetto. I do not tolerate disrespect nor do I tolerate someone talking back to me when I'm trying to give you my order. For you being a supervisor manager anything you never tell...
