Went in on Monday, like we always do after my very early pregnancy doctor appt every two weeks. It was roughly 5:30-5:45 am. The nice young lady that usually works third by herself was not there, believe her name is Joyce. There was an older gentleman and a younger, heavy set lady there. The lady was the cook, I suppose. Joyce always was pleasant and kind and on point. With restaurant clean and food exceptional. This lady saw us pull up and hurried and dumped something onto the grill I could see from outside. I went on in to place my to go order. Not one of them spoke and greeted me. I was informed in an irritated manner that she just started cleaning "HER" grill and I simply asked about how long that would take. She then raises her voice at me, tells me she wasn't sure but probably around 39 mins my best bet would be to go on up the road somewhere else to eat, we're her EACT words. I then asked the man for cooperation phone number or manager contact info and the lady started getting been more rude and louder saying why you want that? I explained that her attitude and time if voice was very unprofessional and that I had saw her hurry and dump the cleaner on the grill as she saw myself and another customer car pull into the parking spaces right up front. She went on to try to argue with me, degrade me, and laugh in my face and never provided the information that I asked for. Very unprofessional, very rude, very nasty and very uneducated as she wasn't even speaking in a way I half understood what she was saying. If Joyce truly quit, y'all sure lost a good one. And replaced...

Usually, we don't have an issue with this particular Waffle House. At least now we know if we see two certain white women, we need to get back in the car. Waitress seemed so bothered that they had customers (when you're relying on tips, you're supposed to change your attitude). How dare we bother her while she tried to eat her one free meal? Cook was rude. Placed a to-go order. Waitress misheard us while we ordered and called out the wrong thing (I knew because I was a waitress at WH years ago). We corrected her. The cook sided with the waitress, claiming she "heard us order it that way." We were stunned by how she spoke so rudely. It was honestly almost laughable. Again, we corrected how we wanted the hashbrowns. Well, low & behold... once we arrived home, the burgers were undercooked, hashbrowns were definitely not the normal portion, and the food was practically inedible. The moral of the story, if they're rude and they're cooking your food, leave. Immediately. Request a refund. Do what you have to.
Waste of money. Horrible service. I have absolutely no idea how they're still working with the company. I understand having a bad day, but don't bring that to work. Wait til your break to let off some steam. Something. We're human, but we were strangers to you and your first impression is a lasting one.
I understand waffle house isn't exactly known for impeccable service or food, however my experience was completely unacceptable. My job placed 5 individual orders for pick up. They were purposely not answering the phone. When the food arrived back to my job which is no more than 5 minutes from where I work; we were disappointed. 4 of the 5 orders were incorrect or included significantly burned food. My food in particular was not close to what I ordered. I brought back what I assume was supposed to be my order. When I arrived to the store the waitress who bagged the order was in the front. I expressed my complaint and she responded with I was wrong, and she knows what she bagged. I politely told her I was not interested in talking about it further and would just like a refund so I could return to work. She shuffled around for the receipt and continued to talk about me being wrong and saying "you only brought back food that was free, I told her [coworker] I made an extra hashbrown" I corrected her stating the errors again and reminded her I had no interest in going back and forth with her and it is unprofessional for her to continue to do so. She said "No it's not wrong I know what I bagged and the food was right." I again asked for a refund in which she replied, "I will when I find the receipt" Worst...
