we had a reservation at 615, ended up leaving the restaurant at 930. it started with us and multiple parties waiting past their reservation. the hostess was also waitressing so it took almost 15 min to even get checked in. the manager came out and said “i know we’re running behind on reservations but bare with us i’m not one to kick people out but i’m about to” once we sat down it took at least 45 mins to get appetizers then our food one hour later after that after they informed us they were out of their special so a few of us had to change our orders. the food came out and it was almost all cold, the steak on the mac and cheese was so chewy it was inedible. the waitresses were literally impossible to find for over 15 mins at a time. the table next to us had no silverware and had to go to the bar to get it themselves this same table got their crab cakes AFTER they got their check. another table beside us got the complete wrong food and were also complaining and talking to the manager. the waitress gave me the wrong change after we asked for the bill and it took over 20 mins to even get our checks. we ended up paying 80$ for a two people’s meals personally and it took over 3 hours for it. absolutely ridiculous and i would never complain like this but EVERY single table around us had the same experience if not worse. next time i’ll probably just go to chick fil a. it’s my pleasure to never come back to this restaurant after this...
Read moreThis place exuberates a quaint Tuscan atmosphere with the outdoor section being a great vibe for any night of the week. The dishes were flavorful and delicious, and we enjoyed our drinks. We had friendly interactions with staff all throughout our visit. However, I can’t only speak of the good here. Our server was clearly lacking training, our host severely lacked training- other members of staff were unruly; weaving between tables and fighting to keep up with minimal foot traffic on the patio. The host was wearing a t shirt for a brewery in a neighboring town, and their beer was not even one on draft at this restaurant. At one point a server cursed at another staff member while jolting past our table. We waited almost 20 minutes just for a drink upon initially taking our seats. In fact, our order was actually taken prior to us receiving our drinks…. Leadership is always to blame when it comes to any experience, good or bad. While we enjoyed the food, the wait surrounding the bulk of our service was simply not worth a trip back. Waiting almost 40 minutes after finishing our meals to receive our tab was just inexcusable especially for an establishment at less than 50% capacity. If organization was more valued with this business, this would have been an...
Read moreWent here during Greensburg restaurant week. There were only about five menu items to choose from if you didn’t want to do their weird 3 course special. Boyfriend got a burger he ordered as medium but was burned on the outsides and cold ground beef in the middle (grill too hot!). I had buffalo Mac n’ cheese that tasted like the chicken was freezer burned and then thawed. It came in a bowl so small that you could barely eat it without macaroni getting all over the plate they put underneath the bowl. 3 giant pieces of chicken on top weren’t even cut up, had to remove the chicken from the pasta and cut it up on the side (?). Overall weird experience. No beer on tap except for about 2. This restaurant’s Name is a rip-off of the 1996 movie the spitfire grill and even the font they use is a copy. That must’ve been why they conveniently added the “olde” part. Copyright infringement ;) Wouldn’t...
