MOZZ Artisan Pizza — Restaurant in South Jordan

Terrible ownership @ the Daybreak location... owner takes off for a while, knowing that everyone he hired is under age and can't serve beer. This is the 2ed time this has happened (apparently it happens quite a bit)... we are very hesitant to come back.

EDIT: After that reply from the owner, we will NEVER be back. I didn't say half of the things this terrible owner presumed I said in my initial review, and he even went so far as to misquote me. His attitude shows exactly what he thinks of anyone calling attention to bad business decisions, which translates into poor service. Rather than reach out and ask how things can be made right, he attacked me for giving a negative review and in his antagonistic words, sand that I "go online, behind the security of their keyboard, and attack us for our business practices".

Dear Mozz owner- you will get negative reviews on here, especially when you drop the ball on services you advertise not once, but both times I have been there (it also happened to another customer that came in while we were there who left, and has happened to many others). Take a dose of humble pie and deal with it. Slackwater has my business for now on.

Daybreak resident here 👋🏼 Very excited to hear this new pizza joint opened up just a few blocks from our home so my daughters and I came in for dinner tonight and WOW! 🤩 We left very impressed from the modern layout with super cozy atmosphere to the very friendly staff our dinner was delicious. You can tell all ingredients are fresh with full flavor. They had the traditional pepperoni 🍕 and I tried their low carb diet friendly cauliflower crust version with spicy Serrano peppers and mushrooms. Excited to see they had that option readily available. Also, noticed the Stubborn side the serve is more on the health conscious side for a soda and they have many flavors. Will admit I was more excited to see they serve COLD BEER there! 🍻 Being from Utah (born & raised) I’m fully aware how hard it is for local businesses to obtain a license to serve alcohol on site. Looking forward to frequenting this new restaurant in the area. Next time I’m going to get the meat lovers with some beer to experience the whole vibe!

We love supporting small businesses—especially those that bring something unique and competitive to the table. Mozz does this beautifully with its charming atmosphere, delicious food, and simple, personable service that makes you feel right at home.

Mozz Pizza offers a clean, straightforward menu that delivers big on flavor. Their sourdough crust is a standout—chewy, flavorful, and truly elevates the pizza experience. The toppings are creative, bold, and complement the base perfectly.

We ordered the cheese bread, the Meat, and the Sopressa pizzas, finishing off with a chocolate chip cookie—and wow. While the pizza was absolutely delicious, it’s the cookie we haven’t stopped thinking about. Semi-sweet chocolate chunks with a sprinkle of sea salt on top… it’s honestly one of the best cookies I’ve ever had. Perfectly baked, rich, and balanced—just get one. Trust me.

We highly recommend Mozz and fully support the vibe and quality they bring to the community. Here’s hoping they’re around for many...
