Moran's Pub — Restaurant in South Milwaukee

Moran's Pub is an authentic Irish Pub located on the south side of Milwaukee that is known for it's friendly crowd, fun events, and great atmosphere during soccer and Packers games. Although I only recently discovered this pub it is actually the oldest Irish Pub in Milwaukee and has been owned by the same family since 1995, which means it has even been serving Guinness longer than any other pub in the Milwaukee area. The building was built in the early 1900's and it still has it's original beautiful tin ceiling but now decorated with many club and international soccer scarves donated by it's generous patrons. There are probably over 40 beers with several rotating taps by various local breweries and because they're in South Milwaukee the prices are fantastic! This pub could be easily be located in Bayview and as you'll find out for yourself this hidden gem is easily the place to be seen and the funnest with the various events they hold. This pub has been nothing but spectacular for me. To begin with basics you have an array of large screen tvs all across the bar as well as two more near the corner where tables are (if I had to guess offhand I'm guessing about 7-8 large tvs and don't worry the owner and staff will accommodate you even if you've not come to enjoy the worlds most popular sport). When you come to Moran's pub for a match you know you're in for a good time even if your team doesn't get the result! Great beer selection, very good cocktails, and some very unique shots that are also delicious (get a baby Guinness).

I've attended all kinds of events at Moran's and they're very unlikely to disappoint you (trivia nights, cribbage tournaments, Irish music night where locals come in to perform, FIFA tourneys, etc...)

If you're a gamer and love to play some FIFA you may very well catch me here during one of the owner's FIFA tournaments he hosts (you can win cash and you're donating to a good cause which helps youngsters in our own community)

The bartender was extremely rude and the pitcher of Blue Moon we purchased was flat.I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I understand your view and appreciate your right to respond to mine.I feel I very accurately described my experience and agree with you,your establishment is DEFINITELY not for everyone.The friend that accompanied me that night wanted to try a "friendly"welcoming bar...I thought of a fairly recent visit I had and recommended your place.This was my mistake.You have a right to be inviting to those you "approve".I have a right to visit any of the numerous establishments around you..and we did.We found Boosters to be very friendly and open...America is a wonderful country,it is a blend of ALL people and the freedom of choice.You made yours and we made ours.I wish you well.
