Thirsty's — Restaurant in South Milwaukee

Updated: We went back again and the food was as delicious as the first time. The corn fritters with honey butter were absolutely delicious. The staff was super attentive and quickly refilled drinks and inquired how we were doing. The atmosphere was conducive for visiting and talking with friends over a wonderful dining experience. They also have more than just fish. They have special dining nights of build your own mac & cheese, taco night, and loaded tater tots. The problem on Fridays, however, is making a decision to eat something else because the fish fry was so delicious. But I guess that’s a good problem to have. Be sure to go and check this place out. This is one of those Mom and Pop businesses that deserves and could use your support.

Original: This was definitely one of the best fish fries I have had in the Milwaukee area in a long time. It was absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were huge and service was fantastic. Staff was very friendly and very attentive, Plenty of seating. This is one of those hidden gems on the south side along the upper lakefront roads in South Milwaukee. There’s an outdoor patio area also. Plenty of street parking. So if you’re looking for a traditional Milwaukee/Wisconsin fish fry…. Be sure to make this one of your stops. This place also has plenty of additional menu items and dinner specials...

For the love of god bring back the breaded mushroom! The onion haystack is so addicting.

I come here every once in a while. The pizza is good, though $14.56 for pizza not including the toppings, is a little expensive. The pizza is most definitely not a frozen jacks pizza. We tried the pickel pizza, it was alright. The cleanliness could be better, got dusty plates and the tops of the shakers were dirty. Some of the bartenders are fun. A few of the females bartender act like they don't want to be here and are only nice to their regulars and people who spend money. The biggest downfall is only have one woman's bathroom, one bathroom, one toilet. A few times during a girls' night out, we've used the men's bathroom, which, as we all now smells like pee and is filthy dirty but ya drunk and gotta go pee 🤷‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ otherwise it's a fun...

I went on Valentine's Day and the bartender asked me to leave because I did not have my ID with me ( they never ask me for my ID but I understood) I told her that I really don’t wanted to drink anything but I wanted to be with my boyfriend, and that I could show her a photo of my ID, but she insisted that I had to leave the place and that she would call her boss, my boyfriend always goes, they know him , when she saw him come to us and she told me that I could stay but she only could give me water, I said no, because in other occasions I have seen families and children on the bar, and the other barterneders are nice with me I never got that problem there, in a way she ruined my day cause I felt discriminated...
