This was the best Toppers on the south side. Service was amazing, food was always as ordered.
The last two times our pizza was burnt. The first one, the pepperoni crumbled like a dry leaf.
Our pizza last week was a bit of a conundrum. There were no toppings, none. There was a LOT of cheese, we couldn't tell if there was sauce on it.
Even tho the pepperoni we ordered was absent, there was a huge puddle of pepperoni colored grease under the pizza.
They no longer have their own delivery drivers and count on GrubHub or one of the other third party services.
Good luck talking with someone at the store, the offshore call center staff are courteous, but can offer little practical help. I'm fairly sure they are unable to connect you to the store when requested.
They owe me a replacement pizza that I won't be taking advantage of. From this point forward I'll be picking up from the Bay View location.
This store is a shadow of what it once was.
Edit: we've been ordering from this store again, the food has been consistently good. Someone paid attention to the recent reviews.

Read morePoor customer service from the "manager" Troy. Long story short, my order arrived late and after calling multiple times I said forget it and went to sleep. Of course the driver calls twice 20 min later. By that time, I was away from my phone. So, I don't hear anything back the next day, not even a voicemail was left, so I decide to speak to the manager to see what went wrong and maybe think of a plan so this never happens again. He said sorry about 5 times and blamed in on Summerfest. Hmm, Summerfest is the same time every year, maybe be more prepared? Anyway, I tell him I don't want anything free because I could feel he was getting irritated at this point. He said he doesn't have time for me and has to go deal with real customers. Way to run away from the real problem instead of being a manager and dealing with it. I recorded the entire conversation on my phone and will use this on how to NOT TREAT OR SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS no matter how they got under your skin, At the end of the day you're representing a business that YOU don't own and therefore you should treat it and the customers with respect because this job pays your bills. Called the store, but it goes to a call center in India, who then put me through to the store, put on hold for 15 minutes, hung up. Called back, put on hold for 16 minutes & was hung up on. Just decided to pay for an order. Put the order through on the app. It went through. Checked back 20 minutes later to see where my order was in the process only to see it had been canceled. I tried calling again, was transferred to the store again, only to wait on hold for another 17 minutes & was hung up on again. I work at a hotel & always recommend Toppers, but no longer.
