If you are reading this just know that I highly recommend you stay far far away from this place. They are nothing but a bunch of scammers and cheats with horrible food. Our family has been ordering from this restaurant on and off for about 10 years now. Distance from our house is a big factor on ordering from San Fong. The food used to be just ok. We don't have many options in South Milwaukee for Chinese food. The last couple of times we ordered, the food was so bad that we wouldn't even feed it to a stray dog. Heck maybe that is why the food tasted so bad. Was it just random stray animals that they use? Anyway the point is the food sucks. Now the last time we ordered, we did so by ordering off of their website for pick up. We selected to pay in person for pick up due to the increased amount of fraud currently online. So upon arrival we gave them our debit card. After they swiped it the lady handed me the card back and said the transaction did not go through and I must pay cash. I told them that there was plenty of money on the card and there is absolutely no reason this card would not work. After going back and forth with the most unprofessional staff I have ever come across in my whole life to date, I was just done with fighting and just wanted to get home. So I paid cash and the lady gave me my food. When I got home and checked my account, there was plenty of money and the transaction went through. So we called and informed them of the charge going through. Right away they called us liars and would not listen at all. They claim that the charge never went through and they will do nothing. After back and forth they said that they needed to talk to their manager and to contact them the next day. I asked if we showed them on our bank account that the charge went through if they would be able to refund our money. They said that the charge never went through and showing them proof would do nothing. They just kept saying no charge go through no charge go through over and over again. Even after showing them in real time that the charge went through from our bank app, they still kept yelling no charge go through. So in the end we paid double for the worst food any human could ever try to pass off as food. Do yourself and your family and friends a huge favor and avoid this place like it's the plague. They have the worst service with the crappiest food in the world. In the end we will get our money back through disputing the charges with the bank over time. That is not the point. They have now lost our business and we will make sure we help make everyone aware to stay away and eat...
Read moreHorrible recent experience. We have been repeat customers for years and the food has always been the best Chinese food in the area. We always order $60+ worth of food. However, we had one of the worst customer service experience last week. We picked up our order and already started eating when we realized we were missing one order. This was about 9pm. When I called the restaurant, they were adamant that the camera shows it was put in our order. I looked up and down and cannot find it. I told them I’m sure they put it in A bag but it wasnt OUR bag because it is nowhere and that I just want that portion refunded. No biggie. Instead, I get a second call back after being told the refund was no big deal during the first call and basically accused of lying. Sorry but why would I lie about the cheapest item on the entire bill? I wasn’t even mad until I was accused of lying even after I explained the situation and that I specifically saw two other delivery orders taken out around the time my order was picked up—a mix up could’ve easily happened. Yet, the restaurant asked that I just go back and pick up the missing order at now 930pm instead of a refund. No thanks. I told her I was in the middle of my late dinner and was NOT going to do that. I just wanted my refund. She became upset and literally hung up on me after ranting about the refund. This experience was absolutely uncalled for and ruined my appetite. Read moreThis has been our favorite Chinese restaurant for many years. The food is delicious! Today is the last time I will order from them. I ordered $82 of food & tipped $18. The delivery person just dumped the bag of food in front of the door & didn’t ring the bell. Normally I have to sign a receipt. The food was cold by the time I noticed it. I ordered two orders of boneless Chinese fried chicken 13b from the menu — they sent bone-in chicken wings instead. The fried dumplings sauce spilled all over the food & paper bag. It ruined the almond cookies & rice & made a gross sticky mess of all the sauce packets & food. I called to ask them to redeliver the boneless chicken, cookies, rice & a sauce container. They transferred me to 4 different people! The final guy asked to call me back. They called about 10x, let it ring once & hung up. I was told to email pictures of my order to a weird email address which came back undelivered twice. All I wanted was what I ordered. EDIT: Woke up this morning & found a bag in front of the door.
