Excellent sandwiches, too big to fit in most mouths. Potato sticks on them?- yes! The pictures show the enormous brisket sandwich served with ham and egg and cheese and who knows what else. Friendly people, not much English spoken by most, but thankfully Ricardo was there and described everything we asked about. We saw a few Portuguese folks ordering off the menu, like a thick corn (?) stew..I wish they'd list all the authentic foods for us gringos that like to try new things. As we were leaving (about 4:30) there were people coming in with guitars and mandolins, looked like a bunch of good old folkies,.. Read moreWe wanted to find something local that we never tried before and found this hidden gem! The food was delicious and very, very filling. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our server gave us several recommendations and I'm so glad that we took his suggestions. The burgers (X-Chicken & X-Steak) were huge and worth the price. The salgados were so good that we ordered some to go, too :) ( definitely get the chicken plus cheese ones).
