This pizza Used to be great!! if I could put 10 stars I would’ve. Currently the new pizza that is much thinner. It’s like paperthin, furthermore now the pizza is more expensive. Are used to be a great place but now profit is first before customer service I don’t see this place being open much longer to to the lack of customer appreciation too bad this pizza was excellent just last year before they started making the dough less and thinning of the pizza situation. An extra large pizza can run you around $20 or most places now you can get two for the price of one. The last time I ordered I asked for a extra large pie I got a large pie instead I feel bad for the delivery guy still paid the money and was still hungry because the pizza is now thinner which is less filling than before.😩 they should just make the dough the same way that it was previously cut back on other things instead of the pizza quality. The man is just too old to recognize customer service should be priority at all ttimes in any small business. I think at this time it’s more of a hobby for him the employees are going there because they need the money to support their families. He once had this for sale but he was asking way too much the business is not worth what he was trying to sell it for too bad if the price was right the business would be better off with...
Read morePizza in New Jersey is BORING.
There! I said it!
New Jersey - far more than many places - has a huge selection of pizza places. The vast majority of them fall into the category of "New Jersey Strip Mall Pizza". It's this ubiquitous, decent, average pie that is available all over. 99 percent of these places are just interchangeable, at least as far as the pizza is concerned. That's not necessarily a bad thing - it's great that good, decent pizza is available just about everywhere.
But ... it can be boring. Now, the trick is in finding the outliers. The unique spots that make the drive worthwhile, and excite the taste buds with something exceptional.
Enter Coffaro's! Just as the lead character in the TV series "Life on Mars" suddenly finds himself transported to 1973, walk through the doors and you'll find yourself in a time machine. This is the real deal, not some carefully curated, faux atmosphere. And, the pies are the real deal, as well, featuring a squareish, buttery crust, and an original sauce that veers toward sweet, capped with a stochastic ratio of cheese.
It's a sea of uniformity, Coffaro's is doing their own thing, and knocking it out of the park. Long...
Read moreAtrocious customer service. We've ordered the same order every Friday night for the last 6 months, our pizza light on the cheese and crispy. Pie was sent with a ton of cheese and floppy. When I called, the guy who answered said he wrote light on the cheese and crispy which is wrong because we have the ticket. He said that it's light on the cheese and the pictures below clearly show otherwise. While mistakes happen, he completely refused to acknowledge their mistake and was extremely rude on to me on the phone. When my mom called, he proceeded to cut her off and shouted at her saying it was made correctly, he wouldn't do anything about it, and to call tomorrow if we had a problem with it. Unfortunately he refused to tell us his name but whoever handles Friday night orders has lost a loyal customer and should learn how to deal with customers. Completely unacceptable and will never order...
