The best part of the sandwiches here is definitely the BREAD! Compared with a French baguette, the soft sweet roll from here has a lighter, softer, and sweeter interior. The crust is paler and thinner, offering a lighter crisp instead of a hard crunch. The soft sweet bread reminds me of Portuguese rolls which I absolutely adore. I should just pick up some of their bread from the bakery next door. It's so good.
I think the deli meats are supplied by Boar's Head so there's nothing very special about them, but the sandwiches do have a generous amount of stuff inside. I'm not too crazy about the homemade specials. The meatballs could use more seasoning, but the sandwich has a good amount of gooey cheese and marinara. I also think the chili could use some more spices like cumin and paprika. There's multiple types of beans in it (kidney and pinto I think) so if that's your thing, you'll probably enjoy it.
