Waste of time and money. This review is for the swimming classes. I enrolled my two kids in the beginners level. The trainer Jimmy is nice. We attended every class offered. There were not too many kids in the group one trainer for my two kids a couple of times there were 4 kids per trainer. Overall there was no instructions or development of skills or work on weaknesses. I asked Jimmy several times how my kids were doing and he mentioned a weakness with each kid. I don't have a swimming pool so I showed my kids videos of how to do the skill or move and practiced it. One class before the test i asked Jimmy how my kids are doing and he said there will be 1 more class and they will definitely pass. The last day came and the trainer produced plastic circles and started throwing them behind him at the 4' level and asking the kids to retrieve them. The kids never trained to do so. The trainers were busy playing lovey dovey during classes with each other instead of training the kids. How do you test the kids on something they never practiced or taught. I feel like i wasted my money taking them to another school. Don't waste your...
Read moreA very nice park for a variety of outings or just hanging out. A fairly large park with 2 playgrounds & a large green area to support 2 baseball areas..nearly back to back to ea other a small variety of other sports plus a pool house for swimming & a dog park divided for big and small dogs. If hungry got a mobile food truck..sometimes 2..near the front end of park near pool house. Or depending on direction on start..gots fast food type joints and a Safeway within a mile walk. Plenty of parking most of time. If coming from out of town and it's a clear dry day..recommend bringing your bike. Depending on which way and how u travel.. It could be a fair hike once u reach the contental trail bike route. Following the trail leads u strait to the edge of park nxt to dog park /omega kids club. A bus ER stops closest to it others a short walk from. If u check maps u see the bike trail runs from SSF bart to...
Read moreCan't say enough about this park. It's modern with rubbery floors and unique structures for all ages. The negative (not worth a star reduction) would be that it is too big. Normally, this is a positive problem. However, when you are chasing a 2 year old who likes to slide once on one structure, run back to the first set of slides, slide once, repeat pattern all while you are chasing said toddler (or risk dirty looks from the helicopter mums and dads) you will need a nap the same time your kid does . My biggest issue has to do more with South San Francisco itself than the park. The wind. It is relentless. While your kids will be too happy playing and warm enough running the wind can transform Mother of the Year into Mommy Dearest. I...
