Jack in the Box — Restaurant in South San Francisco

Update: After response from their management, I decided to fill out the form on their website. It's been a few months so I felt like it's enough time to make changes in their way of preparing food. I went to this Jack in the Box because they have the tiny tacos and it's much closer for me. Big mistake. The tiny tacos are soaked with grease. Not sure if it means the oil wasn't hot enough or what but it wasn't my deal breaker. My deal breaker is the onion rings. I ate half the box of onion rings and one I ate was really off tasting. I spit it out immediately. It wasn't just the onion, the taste was in the breading too. That's that. Never going here again.

Previous Review: They will get all your things wrong. Check your things before you leave the drive thru. I got a chicken melt instead of a siracha curly fry Burger in my munchie meal. Check every little thing. The staff asked me what sauces I wanted twice and I repeated twice, and it's not in my bag at all.

Not drive thru portion: it's really small and dingy feeling. I went in the middle of the day and the staff were just talking to themselves and didn't bother to take my order as I stood there.

Food: somethings are grossly oily.

I ordered two munchie meals; one stacked grilled cheeseburger with a vanilla coke, one chicken tater melt with a cherry coke. The only thing that was right, was the drinks.

The fries on both orders were stale, like they had been sitting all day, no meat or cheese in the tacos, and the worst of all was the chicken tater melt. It had an extreme amount of this weird white sauce on it. I have no idea what it was, but it with the copious amounts of shredded cheese and ranch sauce made it a sweet gross mess.

I tried to contact the restaurant, no answer. The line for the drive thru was a mile long. I ended up just tossing it out. Tried to eat it, but immediately got sick once I got home.

I raved about this place to my fiance, and this quite literally left a terrible taste in my mouth. Sadly, we will never eat at this...

I Do Not Recommend this Jack in the Box. A similar thing happened to me as it did Tyler. My order was a simple #10 or a spicy chicken sandwich with a small French fry and a small soda. I received a hamburger and French fries that tasted very dry, flavorless, and stale. A small soft drink is not worth $9.10.
