Great Oak Pizza — Restaurant in Southbridge

When i first moved to the area i was ordering from here every week gyro plates pizza steak king stir fry wrap it was all delicious then the covid hit ALL of the eateries had to raise price so they could survive the only problem is my paycheck didnt go up it stayed the same so i had to stop ordering out as much lol i found myself cooking at home everyday.

I was happy to place in order with them again tonight the owner answered the phone always polite the food was just as good as the first time i ordered over a year ago there are few pizzas that are almost as good cold as they are hot and this pizza is, pizza is always perfectly cooked tons of cheese.

If you are trying to save a buck or two from ordering somewhere else for example the other Greek place well take my advice dont i had called them once asked them what their popular subs are they told me "i dont know just order something" after waiting forever for someone to pick up well come to find out it wasnt just their attitude that stunk. 11/1/17 today was my first visit to Great Oak Pizza. I learned about them through a friend who posted great reviews on Facebook. Today we ordered the great oak pizza special, a small steak pizza and an order of cheesy bacon fries. I have to say they will have us as their customers from now on! The Pizza’s were amazing! The fries were about normal as you would get anywhere else but the pizzas oh my God! They are very hefty loaded with cheese and toppings! They have great flavor too! I have to say that they were very friendly on the phone when I placed my order and the gentleman behind the counter who possibly may be the owner was very kind they also gave us a 2 L bottle of soda. We are from Holland and for over 14 years have been going to Village Pizza in Sturbridge since they no longer deliver to Holland we decided to check out a few of the other local pizza places, though they were good we didn’t find many places that knocked our socks off. We decided that we don’t mind to drive a little bit to get a place that will make a good pizza and we have to say as a family we are very excited about Great oak pizza And through time we look forward to trying other things...

What can I say about this place? There are no words that can properly describe the food that these wizards of comfort food prepare on a daily basis. There is nothing on their menu that will disappoint even the pickiest of eaters. They will go out of their way to accommodate an allergy you may have and they will also make anything to your liking. My go to's are the Chicken Caesar Salad/ the Great Oak Burger/the Mexican pizza/ and the meatball grinder with extra cheese. My hubby Jacobs go to's are the Steak tip salad/ the Great Oak Special pizza/ the Great Oak burger but double patty form/ and the Italian grinder. We both reccomend the Mozz sticks/Onion Rings/and the Jalapeno poppers but really everything is awesome. As for the staff and drivers, you couldn't find nicer or more polite people. If you are a regular customer they remember you and ask how you are and they thank you for your loyalty. If ever my family were to move from town we would drive out of our way just to get our fix as we have found our special place of places.
