Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Southfield Township

Ordered pick up through GrubHub service. Was alerted that it was ready so I went to pick it up. I noticed upon arrival that it was drive thru only, so not a big deal, I'll just pick up my order at the window. No one is in line, so I skip the speaker and driver right to the window. I'm rudely met by a woman behind the glass waving me away, basically telling me to go away. I'm trying to explain I have a pick up order. She wasn't having it. She continued to wave me away and disappeared. I then circle around and go to the speaker, explain I have a order to pick up. Told to pull ahead. She hands me my food and acts as if the non verbal exchange we just had didn't happen. No apology, no explanation. Just handed me my food and...

If I could give this dusty run down place 0 stars, I Would! I was in the area and my kids wanted subs, so I decided to stop at this hole in the wall Tubbys! I ordered $30 worth of food (subs w/ Garlic Parmesan bread) and after I drive all the way home to Troy I discover that all our subs were made with PLAIN WHITE BREAD! Yuck!!! I called spoke to the so called manager Carrie who tried to convince me that it was in fact garlic Parmesan bread, that “maybe it just baked into the bread” (her words exactly said with an attitude)! What? I’m not dumb, this looks, smells and taste like PLAIN WHITE BREAD!!! I will never go back to this Tubbys and I recommend no one else goes...

I don’t write reviews but I feel compelled to. I waited at the speaker for around 7 minutes while another car was at the pick up window. They pulled away and I waited another 2 minutes. I never visit restaurants close to closing cause that’s rude to me but they closed at 10 and I was there at 9. After waiting 9 minutes I was told they were only serving salads because they were out of bread. We’re they really out of bread or didn’t want to dirty the grill and get out of there? Either way I am writing this to bring attention to the owners from lack of sales due to lack of ordering correct amounts of bread or being dishonest...
