Everytime I have ate here I am disappointed with the food. The first time I went was for ramen which I was very disappointed about - it looks like the ramen you buy from the grocery store. Also the lumpia was just four pieces which was disappointing. I recently tried it again over the weekend thinking I could give it another shot and I ordered sushi TNT roll for dinner. I ended up having food poisoning at 5 am. My sister and her husband ordered adobo which looked good. I personally am never going back to this restaurant as I am disappointed every time I go and definitely do not want to get sick again.
Update: as you can see from reply from owner below I have made several attempts to reach establishment regarding possible food poisoning on 10/09/2021 with no answer or way ability to leave a voice mail for my concerns. From reading past posts on people who have real concerns regarding this restaurant the owner does not show his name nor lets others respond to his remarks. I will let you know I do not just post these things for no reason - they are real concerns and this shows how you care so much of your customers. I have tried your spicy ramen not just “looked” at it and it is the worst ramen I have ever had. I support many smalls businesses who care about their customers and are professional as listed below who serve Filipino and Japanese food
Oishi - Novi Tomo - Troy Ajishian - Novi Isla - Madison Heights Sumo sushi- Rochester Hills
Instead of insulting your customers and blaming everything on them I suggest you learn about cross contamination before someone gets very sick - luckily I am a healthy 28 year old. I also suggest you have a voicemail to address customers concerns if you are unable to pick up the...
Read moreIf I could give this place -000000 stars I would. I eat here a minimum of twice a week! I ordered two Hawaiian ramen noodle to go orders yesterday for my mom and I (she was trying it for the first time). Hers was fine considering she had never tried it before. Mine was terrible! It upset my stomach a few short hours after eating (everything came right back up). So fast forward to today (the day after) I got off work and took my food back up to the restaurant. I just wanted my order remade! Majority of the food was still inside of the container I barely touched it. My shrimp was very soft and chewy like it wasn’t all the way cooked which could have really gotten me sick. Then to also add I had to come back in the store yesterday because they BARELY put any broth inside of my containers. My noodles were extremely dry and over cooked it was so hard to mix them around the bowl with the meat and veggies! The manager was very rude and disrespectful to me. I was told that once the food leaves the store then they cannot replace it... how is that at all okay???? It is a TO GO ORDER! I was not given a refund or a replacement order I was told to buy something else! Why?? When YOUR workers messed MY order up! We do not need businesses like this in our communities! Customer satisfaction should be top priority! Even when I came back for the extra broth the same manager got smart with me and talked to me like I was a child. Do not spend your money here until these businesses learn to respect the people that keep their doors open! I can assure you I will never spend another dollar here again and I will tell everyone I know not to spend any money here either! That manager or whoever he is needs...
Read moreI visited this place yesterday and was quite impressed. They had a good variety of Asian cuisine. However, I came in here to try their Filipino food. And while I was not too experienced with Filipino food, the person that I was with was Filipino. So I had a good gauge of how good it really was.
For drinks, I started out with some saki and then I ordered a Mai Tai. What was cool about the Mai Tai is that it was served in a spam container. Thought that was cool. Apparently, spam is a big thing in the Philippines.
As for the food, we got the lumpia for the appetizer, which are a lot like egg rolls but with pork and cabbage in them. While I did enjoy them, they were not as big as real authentic lumpia, at least that is what I was told. And in my opinion, they were rather bland tasting, though the sauce that they were served with was very good and flavorful.
As for the entre, I ordered the the adobo bowl and I thought it was excellent. My Filipino friend agreed. There were big hunks of pork and chicken, which had terrific flavor. It was very tender and it seemed as if they marinate the meat. There were also two fried eggs on them.
I also ordered the halo-halo for dessert, which I guess is also pretty common in the Philippines. It had ice cream on the top, along with corn flakes, these purple potato root things on the top, with jackfruit and beans mixed with ice on the bottom. This was very interesting. In a good way. I ate all of mine, which is saying a lot because it was quite big.
The service was also very good. Our waiter was very personable and attentive.
Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at this place. I would really like to try some of their other Asian food...
