Super Crab — Restaurant in Royal Oak

(Online order)I ordered take out from this place last night, and I am super stoked that I did! That seafood boil was so frickin' delicious I kept looking back at the menu as if it would change. I ordered the Special Steamed Mega Combo Plate. It came with 2 snow crab leg bunches, 12 shrimp, 1 corn, 1 potato, and sausage; in garlic butter, medium spice aka no spice~. I ordered an additional corn, potato, and egg. I also added my own sausage to the dish when I got home (the long sausages in the middle of the picture), as they were a really skimpy on the amount in the boil. There were 8 slivers, not slices, of sausage (which can be seen next to the long sausage, and in the bottom right hand corner).The dish itself was $37.99, the three add ons were $1 a piece, a $1 convience fee, and taxes totaled the boil to $44.85. So, I do wish I would have considered their other boils based on quantity vs. price. I do feel I was misled by the menu saying 2 snow crabs, as I assumed I would be getting both sets of legs on the crab, totaling to four bunches of legs. Not the case at all, you get both sets of legs from 1 crab. I shared this with my kid, and we were both full and satisfied. I will be coming back to try...

We’ve been loyal customers here for over two years since moving into the neighborhood, and we love their Chinese food and seafood boils. The food is consistently delicious—everything on the menu is amazing! Just keep in mind, this is a pick-up-only spot, not a sit-down restaurant.

That said, we’ve noticed a decline in service since the front staff changed a few months ago. The new staff member seems inexperienced and often makes the ordering process frustrating. The phone is frequently off the hook, forcing us to drive to the restaurant to place an order in person and wait in the parking lot, which can be inconvenient due to the cramped pick-up area. Alternatively, we’re left with no choice but to pay a convenience fee to order online.

While we understand mistakes can happen, especially with someone new to the job, these issues have occurred at least five times since this staff member started working—most recently tonight. We truly miss the friendly and efficient girl who used...

I still gave everything 5starts because me and my brother always order from this place and food is usually great, service is even better. I have tried most that’s on their menu lol Now yesterday I ordered for me and my kids food 2 #5s and a spicy #8 and my crab was a bit over cooked or undercooked . Whatever it was it was Mushy like when I tried to eat it. This really disappointed me because I don’t go anywhere for my boils🤦🏾‍♀️ I live almost 20mins away so I was not about to travel back after I made it all the way home so I just threw it away.
