They will mess up your food and not correct it! I wish I could rate them a -zero! Ordered a omelette and grits meal which was placed in the same carry out box⊠NEVER in my 13yrs of coming to this Coney Island has this happen. The runny grits are all over the omelette. The bottom of the omelette is very soggy. Everytime Iâve ever ordered from here the grits were placed in a separate container. I called the owner and he stated heâs not remaking b/c eggs are $1 up and I shouldâve told the lady that took the order to put in a separate container. How would that even be a request and the grits are NEVER a placed in the same container over 13yrs?. How about ask the customer!? You loss a customer over a $1! Very poor customer service.
Youâre responding back stating that Iâm complaining about the way my food was prepared which was not the issue! It was the way it was boxed up in the container and I explained that to you over the phone. I was upset by the way I was treated. Yes I used social to give my review. This is very bad business practice. I received the wrong order and wanted a refund as I had to drive back to the restaurant a second time. I was refused a refund by the manager and later spoke to the owner Martin who also refused to give me a refund although NO signs were printed/posted with this policy. Not only is it NOT printed in the store it was not printed on the receipt which I wasn't given until I asked for it during my second trip to the restaurant. This establishment has very poor business practice besides not adhering to the law as I understand it. No refund policies SHOULD be posted visibly for customers to see, in store and on the receipt. Also receipts SHOULD be offered especially if paying cash which I had during my visit. I will not bring my business there again because of their polices and poor practices.    Read moreWe had a very large order for our Robotics Team which is competing across the street at the high school. The staff was polite, patient and very accommodating. Our order was placed in person and they never made me feel as if my very large and rather confusing order was any inconvenience to them even though they were very busy because it was lunch time. After we placed the order we left and then returned at the time our food order was promised. Our food was ready and waiting for us. Our order consisted of a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items so it was a complete and wonderful surprise that our order was accurate, every possible utensil and condiment was included and the food was absolutely delicious!
