This review is about staff. (The food was fine) I went to this locationnin plantsville. They were running a little slow, probably due to lunch rush. Not concerning. What did concern me though was the toxic management. What I witnessed was a female, I assume to be thr manager on duty scolding a male worker about being too slow, in front of all the staff and customers. This is belitting and disgraceful. It also makes customers feel uneasy and awkward about coming into the store. If there's an issue with an employee, talk about it in a private setting, not publicly. Not everyone works at your pace, maybe they're new, maybe something in their personal life is affecting them. For this member of management to do this publicly is a shame and a fail on their part. They should not be in charge at this location, or any! Find the root cause of the problem, not scold in that manner. If there is anything that should be done, it is reprimand the manager, not the employee under them. I will not be returning to this location. Others yes. It is embarrassing to your company. This person should be greatful they even have people working for them. Fix...
Read moreThe Arby's in Plantsville, CT is horrible!!! I have Celiac disease so my husband and I ordered or sandwich without a bun. I informed the person taking my order of a gluten allergy which was met with an odd look. I told him no bun, he said, "no problem". I waited and waited and waited, 17 minutes later, they called my name and low and behold, bun. I informed them of the issue, I was told there wasn't a bun and received a very rude attitude. A manager grabbed the bag, tossed my food in a bowl and have it back to me. I informed them that they couldn't pull the meat off a bun and slap it in a bowl, they had to use all new meat. Another 11 minutes later, we took our orders to go and trusted them to have done their jobs correctly, we had our food. I walked in side to order keep in mind. When we arrived home, there was a seseme seed in my bowl. We had to toss $19.00 worth of food in the trash. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT go to...
Read moreFor fast food, it's a welcome change from "doze burger joints". The food has a consistent quality at all the locations I've visited, so I got what I expected. (Yes, their food is good) So, it's about the service. I queued up for drive thru, long line(8cars) and this location kept it moving! The "order taker" said "Let me know when you're ready to order", so not too rushed, no attitude. Aced the order, and, miracle! the Jamoca shake machine was working! (McDonalds, you taking notes?) 2 above average sized adults were well fed for about $20. Good job, Southington...
