I’ve been coming to Lion’s Den for over a year now, and it’s easily my favorite espresso spot. The espresso is always rich and flavorful, the food is spectacular, and the atmosphere makes it easy to relax or get work done. But what truly sets Lion’s Den apart is the staff. They are absolutely top tier.

This place makes me feel like family. I’m always greeted with a warm, friendly smile, and that kind of genuine care keeps me coming back. I actually look forward to my morning visits here because it’s more than just coffee. It’s an experience filled with good vibes and great people.

And the food? As a New Yorker, I’m picky about my bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, but theirs on a bagel gets my seal of approval! The Asiago and sesame bagels are both fantastic. Their classic avocado toast is a zesty treat, and you can’t go wrong with any of their pastries. Some standouts for me are the Nutella croissant, torta della nonna, cinnamon roll, apple danish, and the hazelnut sfogliatella (the lobster-tail style pastry). Each one is a delight.

For drinks, my go-to latte flavor is hazelnut, and theirs tastes amazing. I’d also highly suggest trying the Biscoff cookie latte if it’s available. It’s such a unique treat.

Lion’s Den is the perfect mix of quality and community, and I couldn’t recommend it more!

PS: I wish I had more pictures, but with food this good, you can’t stop...

After starting with a classic coffee menu, Lion’s Den began to expand with some staple ingredients (ie. nutella), added lattes and seasonal offerings. They have since continued to evolve around the community's interest, now offering: smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, parfaits, pastries & bagels–much of which is made in house. The owners have built an amazing customer base and strive to provide a strong, supportive workplace for their team members. They are also very involved in giving back to their community one of which is to the local law enforcement. They host an annual ‘Back the Blue’ fundraiser and also sell merchandise and beans which directly support different departments such as the K-9 Unit. The shops vision aligns with the saying ‘Le Dolce Vita’, to be a place that you truly enjoy sitting down to relax and enjoy life. While enjoying the outside patio, you might want to snag one of these two delicious drinks: The iced shaken espresso or the nutella latte. *10/10 on the sweet croissants hot out of the oven too! You’ll find parking & plenty of seating too. They offer call ahead/pick up and order...

Stop by this little cute cafe shop by Southington Mountain. First time at this little cafe, we were tired and were looking for a good cup of coffee. This coffee shop was so clean, neat, and organized. All the girls at the counter were so friendly, helpful, and nice. Emily helped serve us, and she was really helpful in explaining all the different drinks, and I can tell she was very experienced. She explained how much foam, milk and espresso went in everything. She was very attentative as well, and made sure to ask us how we wanted our drinks. I asked for a pumpkin spice latte, and my friend asked for a iced caramel latte. She steamed my pumpkin latte with oatmilk, and she made me a lovely heart on top of my drink as well! My friend said the pumpkin latte was perfect. We definatly recommend this place to anyone looking for good coffee, and we will...
