Worst McDonald's experience in my 60 years of going there. Handed cashier 2 coupons and he looked confused. Put in bogo Big Mac and bogo 10 piece nuggets. Did coupon for nuggets and told me order was $21.00, kept both coupons. I asked about the second coupon and was told I could only use one. I then asked for my second coupon back and cancel the 2 Big Macs. He furiously kept pushing buttons, but obviously didn't know what he was doing. He went over to the manager and said, "this guy made a mistake and want to cancel a part of his order." She told him to handle it but he said he didn't know how. She comes over and asks me what I want. I explain to her and again ask for my second unused coupon back. She gives it to me and my or magically drops to $9. Then I wait over 5 minutes to get 2 10 Mcnuggets, a soda and an iced coffee. I had to ask for the iced coffee because it appeared she was done with me. She checked the order board and said, "That was black no sugar". I told her it was light and sweet. 2 minutes later I get the coffee but no straws. In the meantime 6 people are waiting for their food and the young cashier tries to stare me down like I should be intimated by his presence. When I don't blink, he starts waving his hands and rolling his eyes at me. The manager walked by and I asked her for a straw, but her phone was ringing so she ignored me and walked to the side dorr to have a private conversation. I've been in retail over 40 years and would have fired both employees on the spot. It seems McDonalds increasing it's employee's wages to over $15. an hour has emboldened them to treat customers with less respect. By increasing wages, you have passed that cost on to the custome. The only reason I was in McDonalds was because of the coupons. I'll never make that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have never written a review ever in my life but the absolute DISGUST I experienced today changes that. I orders through doordash and received the wrong order and I contacted my driver but he couldnāt do anything about it because the bag was sealed. I brought the order back to this location and the first employee I talked to was very nice and then she brought it to who I assume was the manager. I have never been spoken to in such a nasty tone in my life. He immediately was hostile and said I needed to call doordash and that he couldnāt do anything, which I completely understand. It was the nasty and rude tone of his voice that angered me so heavily. Talking to two young girls with such hostility and disrespect should never be tolerated. Instead of a simple iām sorry itās company policy, he was very rude and dismissive to our problem. Now I have lost money and have no ice cream, on top of being berated at a Mcdonaldās at 10:30pm. NEVER giving this place my money again, honestly go to Arbyās across the street I have never had a bad experience there while this location has CONSTANTLY forgotten items or treated me oddly. I wish I could give this place a zero but thatās not possible so I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI placed an online order and chose curbside but after 16 minutes of waiting, I went into the restaurant to see why the āfastā food was taking so long. I wasnāt even given a reason other than āwe are working on itā and the staff is so rude. My smoothie was sitting out getting warm (and was 3/4 full at best) but also the elderly woman behind me asked the employee to help her get a straw and the employee rolled her eyes at a 90-year-old woman. This is fairly standard for this location everytime I go and many people on Southington Talks agree that this location is probably the worst one. The staff is notoriously rude and the food is notoriously cold. Just do yourself a favor and choose another location unless you like cold food, warm smoothies and rudeness. The poor elderly womanās face when she had this 17 year old roll her eyes at her. She looked so flustered and said āI just want a straw for my coffee sweetie, Iām sorry to bother you!ā HOW IS SOMEONE ALLOWED TO TALK TO A CUSTOMER LIKE THIS! Just go up a few miles and Meriden has one thatās...
