We took our daughter & grandkids to celebrate her Bday after the kids game and she picked where she wanted to go. I heard bad reviews from friends and told her and she still wanted to try it. We did and it was the worst experience ever! The greeter was the best part of the night. She was smiling and friendly to us. It quickly went down hill from there. The waitress was very unfriendly and very rude to us all. We had looked online at the menu and thought we knew what we wanted BUT the items weren’t on their menu at all. We needed extra time and the waitress got very mad at us, rolling her eyes and walked away. She came back after awhile abs took our order and wouldn’t allow my daughter to sub mashed potatoes in lieu of a baked potato. She gave me a hard time about my order as well. She blamed the owner and said he was very strict. Most places never give you a problem as they give you a choice. The kids were antsy as it took forever for our food. We saw other people get bread baskets and we had to ask her when we were able to flag her down. Our waitress only had our table of 7. Not sure what her problem was. We finally get bread but they serve it with oil. The kids like butter and we told her to wait till she came back. She was hungry and didn’t want to wait so she went up to her and asked if she could have some butter. She got upset and said you have the oil and she said she didn’t like it, so she grabbed 1 butter and told my granddaughter NOT to ask for ANY more! My granddaughter was upset and told her mother who is suppose to be having a relaxing Bday dinner and instead is having a miserable experience. We asked if there were free refills, waitress huffed and said, no! Food took forever and we didn’t dare ask for more bread to help keep the kids a little full while they patiently waited for all of our dinners. By this time we were the only ones there. Waitress never came back to ask how things were. She said she was new but has been a waitress before. She told us how strict the owner was. So I understand that (but then again I don’t. If this a a fairly new place how do you expect repeat business?”but don’t be rude about it. The food was just ok. Nothing to rave about, not much flavor. We were going to get desert but she never came back and when she finally did she gave us our bill. My granddaughter got a little antsy again as we waited for the bill to be completed and went to the table next To us (she’s 7) and we told her she couldn’t do that. The waitress runs over to her and yelled at her! We did reprimand her and tell her to sit back down but this waitress ran over to her and slams her hand down on the table making a big slam noise. We were shocked. We already apologized to her and explained she didn’t know better but instead of taking our apology she slams her hand down in the table???? If this place is suppose to be FINE DINING, then have a sign saying NO children allowed. To me this place was far from fine dining! We have never, ever been treated with such disrespect. Our bill was pricey but I still left a 20% tip. My daughter quietly thanked her for her rude service and hoped she truly had a better night. Think twice about going back her due to the owner having ridiculous rules to his menu, no where did it say you couldn’t substitute an item, food was just ok, bland, pricey, poor waitress service and ruined my daughter’s Bday dinner of a no stress night out. We truly hope the owner reads this and makes some changes. As I don’t feel he’d want this kind of disrespect/rudeness if he was dining out...
Read moreVery very good food . My only issue was the fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and broccoli it was very bland tasting and no sauce over the pasta it was very dry. The picture shows how dry the pasta is and the sauce wasn't on the bottom of the tray like we expected . The chicken Parm dinner was amazing fresh chicken breading was spot on and ordered extra sauce and still seemed like not enough but it's ok. We also asked for little cheese over top and they still mounded it on... The staff need to listen better when cooking the order unless they just don't care.? The sauce tastes great. The meatballs and ziti was great , again I ordered extra sauce and it didn't seem like enough. The dinners only come with a small piece of garlic bread , no salad no small cup of soup ... Which was very odd to us. 83.00$ for three dinners which is expensive for no sides with your dinner. They were kind enough to deliver to the hotel down the road less than a half mile but they definitely need to listen better when someone is ordering so we actually get what we want. Extra means extra. The delivery...
Read moreSaw someone talk very highly of this place so decided to check it out. While we did get take out, our house is 2 min down the road & food was still hot. We got the sirloin & penne al la vodka. Pasta was still undercooked, not Al dente. No sauce whatsoever, it was so dry & pasta was all stuck together. As for the sirloin, we asked for it well done & it was ridiculously burnt. Black, couldn’t even cut through it & had no seasoning flavor to it. It comes with corn on the cob & roasted potatoes. Those were alright, dry still no flavor. Both meals came with what I thought was just Italian bread but we received garlic bread & even the bread was flavorless & so dry. So disappointing that we wasted $60 on a place that we saw others raving about as a “hidden gem”. Beautiful place inside but we will...
