South Town Apizza — Restaurant in Southington

First and foremost, let me say that South Town Apizza is DELICIOUS!!! Expertly crafted, interesting varieties and the BEST in the Area hands down. But, on another note, I just have to comment about their Absolute PROFESSIONALISM. I had one of their pizzas delivered while I was working at home, which I quite often do on weekends. This time, Door Dash delivered a pizza where all the cheese and toppings completely slid off of one side of the pizza to the other as well as in the inner side of the box. I let Door Dash know via the app and just received a $3 coupon in response along with a generic message that they would speak with the establishment. Knowing that the issue was the delivery person & NOT South Town, I called South Town to give them a heads up and bring them up to speed on the situation. Long story short, South Town Pizza replaces the poorly delivered, mangled pizza with a brand new one for FREE... I just had to pick it up to guarantee it arriving to me in one piece. When I went by the shop and spoke with the owners, they were profusely apologetic and extremely friendly and had the new pizza in my hand ASAP. How GREAT is that!!! All I have to say, is simply this... not only is South Town Apizza the BEST Pizza in the area, but they are the utmost Professionals... and in this day and age, it is nice to know that they are GREAT Folks, as well! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the BEST, most DELICIOUS...

Grubhub canceled my order after waiting almost 2 hours. I called because when I was still waiting Google said the restaurant was closed and luckily they answered. They were more than helpful and told me my order was waiting for me. While I was on the phone was when I got the cancelation notice from grub hub and when I called them they told me that they would make it right. One of their employees lived in the same town as me and he was delivering my food. I also told them to make sure to call me and let me know if grub hub didn't pay them because the order was canceled and they told me not to worry about it. I had to insist and gave them my information to call me tomorrow because if my refund is there then I plan to pay them. I also honestly believe because they are so focused on just helping people right now that they may not call me so I plan to call them tomorrow. I haven't tasted my food yet but based on the customer service I can say this is the greatest place ever on this planet and they have a loyal customer...

South Atown Pizza is a hidden gem. Gary and his staff make you feel “at home”. Pre-Covid, my friends and I would frequent their establishment for a Friday night out! The food was spectacular and they enjoyed our company. Fast forward to the pandemic...South ATown is still our “go to”. The food is as amazing as eating it fresh out of the oven. If you are looking for a meal, my favorite is the eggplant parm with bolognas! It’s not on the menu, but a “Heidi Special!” If you are looking for a a simple pizza, their veggie or meat lovers pizza is to die for! Chopped salad, garlic bread and so many other options. Once you have tried their pepperoni, you will never go anywhere else! South Atown is open to all! Door Dash, or pick up! We enjoyed indoor dining, but due to Covid I’m not sure they are offering...
