Taco Bell — Restaurant in Southington

Today I decided to go to Taco Bell for dinner for my daughter and myself. Upon going to this restaurant, there were no prices on the menu. Only pictures for their items. I purchased the Chalupa combo which is two Chalupa‘s one taco and a drink. Would you believe I spent $33 and change for only two meals. There is no reason why two meals cost this much money! The fact that I am not able to look online or in store for the prices for this particular store is telling me that they are price gouging. Perhaps it is time for people to start making complaints to our state. On top of it all their self-serve soda machines did not even work. If memory serves me correctly, the last time I was there the machine was broken. And that was in the summer months. Something gotta give. And I don’t want to hear INFLATION IS...

I've never been to a Taco Bell that refuses service because they're backed up..... Sat in the line for a few minutes until one of them noticed me at the counter and then rudely basically said they're not taking any new orders until they're not backed up it's going to be a while....

So I waited in line for another 10 to 15 minutes before they even acknowledged me again.

That's not the way to handle fast food. It's okay to be backed up but you still take the order that way you're customers can go relax at a table and wait for their order to come up......

Very odd experience and oddly I think it was the manager I'm not sure though there is only two workers and they only had a few orders it wasn't super busy

Things are overpriced here too but that's due to covid / Connecticut / truck stop...

5 Star service was provided for me during my visit here to this particular Taco Bell franchise. The cashier/customer service representative, Shawnda who greeted me upon arrival helped me with my order and then not only placed my order but then proceeded to wash her hands put on disposable gloves and a apron and also make my order in a timely fashion. All with a smile on her face. I could tell she did not have much help but that did not influence her attitude and disposition towards me. I left with a smile on my face along with properly made food and a overall delicious experience. As a truck driver if I am ever in that area again. I would definitely return to that same establishment and hope to see that same representative of that franchise. 5 star service...
