It was my birthday dinner. We all 3 of us ordered subs. My one friend had a steak sub, not sure exactly which one. Myself an the other girls ordered Italian subs. I do not like an refuse to eat one if the meat is heated. I also will not eat if the bun is soggy. I told her I would like a special order. I wanted the to toast the bun well an then put the lunch meat, onions, lettuce an tomatoes on it. I was not asked if I wanted banana pepper rings either. I told her no dressing! An no lettuce if it was soaked. I asked if I could have my chips first with a order of ranch dressing. I was told no it will all come out together!!! I let that slide which was insane. Who would tell a paying customers that they couldn't have chips first . So everyone's goid came out. Mine was Hot!!! Dripping grease! I said this is not right. I ordered a cold sub with a toasted bun. The chips and ranch came. She took my sub back. My friends were trying not to eat but I said I'd eat my chips. Now I have been a good and a mystery shower both. I would gave put a bun on to toast as Soon as the order to remake would have come back. It should have taken 3 to 4 minutes to toast a bun an one to two minutes to put cold lunch meat an tomatoes an onions on it. In the meantime a table of 8 or ten came in he or she must gave started all their orders before fixing mine because it was 23 minutes. I was do upset. I know it was not the waitresses fault because she wrote all the stuff down but what was her fault I was 17 minutes with a empty glass of tea waiting on a sandwich. So it comes after 23 minutes. I said to her how in the he'll long does it take to heal a bun till it's toasted an put cold cuts on it. All of the sudden a guy bald came up threw the plate on the table did not say one word. Like hey I'm sorry. That would have been nice! Nothing!! Do I bite into it sn the bread is like a saturated sponge, there is so much dressing on the greens that I specifically said not to put on if they were wet. The first sub did not have the greens so I took its bun an took off the vinegar soaked bun sponge an used the other subs bun. So I fixed it like that. But now I'm so upset how screwed up this is that I don't even eat it I ate a few bites an asked for a box. Totally ridiculous!!! Now I had a 14 dollar bill an well thirteen something an dtill left her four dollars cause I figured I'm not gonna be like that. Then she says (taking no blame for her actions sorry for miscommunication.) the food was good!!! The service, waitress an cook were one of the worst bunches I have ever ran into. Was a horrible birthday experience! One star for service, ...
Read moreStopped in to pick up my spaghetti order on Tuesday and was very disappointed! it was all slopped together noodles were hard the sauce tasted like Prego and the meatballs were frozen!?! VERY UNAPPETIZING! What kind of place cant make their own meatballs??? Certainly not a place I would like to visit!! Then I found out through one of my friends that used to work there that "chef MICROWAVE" does all the cooking!?! The burgers, Lasange, meatballs, pierogi and raviolies are all cooked in the microwave and grilled for 10 sec??? Not to mention the lasagne is 3 WEEKS OLD and FROZEN cause they wont cook it everyday! Are you kidding me??? The only good thing left would be the bar how hard is it to serve the beer? WRONG! The inexperienced teenage staff had no idea what was going on one Saturday night took forever to get a drink which was all watered down...Not to mention the blond girl who served me my drink an hour later was sitting at a table drinking and was soo hammered she stumbled and fell on the floor of the restaurant and needed help getting up! Very professional I must say! Do yourself a favor and goto one of the other restaurants around the area where the food is good and the...
Read moreHave dined at the 'Parkwood' on numerous occasions. I typically order the Chef Salad as they serve a generous portion at a somewhat reasonable price. Decided to grab a late dinner yesterday and the Easter 'special' was a Cajun steak chef salad for $17.00. When the order came to the table the meat was COLD! I ask the waiter why and was told the salad sits on top of cold lettuce while waiting to be picked up and delivered to the dining table. Hint! Separate the meat and keep it under a heat lamp until ready to be served. Additionally I ask for extra napkins which never appeared and was not ask if I wanted a refill of my drink. When the bill was presented I expected the drinks to be credited for the COLD steak cuts but I was wrong!! I've had the steak salad at the Parkwood in the past and the meat was hot as it should be but this time I got a flimsy excuse and a pricey bill. I may or may not go back and this review serves to notify the management of my dissatisfaction. I care less what anyone else thinks of my review especially those wanna be 'Elites' who leech off others to dine at some high priced eatery so they can brag on Facebook about how...
