So I've been going to this place for years and I stopped for awhile because they had new management and the rice wasn't tasty for awhile. I decided to give them another chance about a year ago. I always order the same thing which is the fried chicken platter, light onion, no bean sprouts with chicken fried rice and everything has been good until today. I only get a 30 min lunch so i called the order in and went and picked it up. I got home and placed the rice on a plate with two chicken wings. I normally eat half and leave half for my son. I ate the chicken wings first. When I started on the rice, a spoiled rotten taste hit the back of my throat and i spit the food out. I rinsed my mouth out with water and took another bite and the same foul taste filled my mouth. I spit it out and immediately placed the entire unfinished plate inside the bag they gave me with the rice. I made sure to bag up everything even the chewed up spit balls on the plate to show them I didn't get far into eating. And how much I consumed. A new gentleman that took my order noticed me bringing the plate back and asked what was wrong. I told him the meat in the rice tasted spoiled. He went to the back and the short fidgety lady with the glasses was yelling " we fry the chicken everyday!" He brought her to the front and she asked me did I want more rice and I told her no I would just like a refund. She said you ate two pieces of chicken. I said so do you want me to pay for the chicken I ate because it wasn't the chicken wings i had the issue with, it was the meat in the chicken fried rice. It wouldn't make sense to buy more of the spoiled rice. Especially since I planned on feeding my son with it. I said instead of being upset with me for telling you, maybe you should check the meat so other ppl won't complain. It's called constructive criticism. And the fact that we were there on Tuesday and have been coming to the place for the exact same order for a year, why would I choose to waste my 30 min break on falsely accusing you when I'm hungry !!! I wanted my food, fresh and hot, not hot and spoiled. She began ranting while issuing my refund about how she wouldn't refund me next time. I said fine, I know that for future references but no worries because I won't be back for a next time. I could have made a scene and told the awaiting customers eho didnt hear us not to shop there but no, I got my refund and will let Karma do its thing because I was also on my break and had to get back. So I was hungry going back to work. Glad I got my money back. Next time check the meat, not...
Read moreThis China King has really good food but horrible service and is one of the many Chinese restaurants that is unsanitary. Today I ordered 3 items and 2 of my 3 items had hair on it. I call the them and asked for the manager and he told me to bring the food back. I didn’t eat anything but the bite of crab Rangoon so all of the food was there. When I brought the food back the lead guy told me to show him were the hair was. I showed him both hair in food and in the picture I took. He basically told me I was lying and that if I don’t like the food that’s fine and but I shouldn’t put hair in food. I did get my money back but that’s still not ok. I never see them with hair nets, I never even see any one with gloves on or washing their hands, the cooking area at most Chinese restaurant are not up to par, and they are always rude in person and over the phone. But we keep giving them business instead of supporting of own. We have to make better decisions fast food alone is already a bad call. Just had to get that off my chest cause I don’t eat to much fast food and this is wat happened when I did. Always go with ur first mind, my last hour would have been good if I did. U know wat it was is that I seen this black own Chinese spot on Facebook called lefty fried rice and it looked so good but it was to far so I went closer and wat I know and this happens😢😭😭😭😡🤬 i already bit a crab Rangoon with hair on don’t make this so hard on the next one which won’t be me!!!! Have a good day...
Read moreOMG, where do I begin. This use to be my #1 Chinese restaurant but I haven't been in years since I no longer live over there. I was so excited to go there again. Not knowing what was to come. When we 1st walked in the 1st thing I noticed was one of the worker forearm looks to have been bad burned so she had multiple open blisters and some that was ready to pop. But she was sitting and eating when I got there so I gave her benefit of the doubt. I order my food but as I wait I was literally being attacked but flys it was ridiculous how many was in there. By now the lady finished eating gose in the back but then re-emerge to start making crab rangoons. So just for entertainment I decided to look for the health inspection grade. It was no where to be found! So I decided to cancel my order and leave. Which was another issue but I wasn't in the mood to fight over a $5...
