Review:
If you're in the mood for authentic Indian flavors in Sparks, NV, look no further than Bawarchi Indian Cuisine. Located conveniently at 5245 Vista Blvd F-1, this establishment serves up a delectable range of both North and South Indian dishes that tantalize the taste buds and transport you straight to the heart of India.
One of the standout dishes has to be their Biryani, which is prepared in a classic Hyderabadi style. The aromatic blend of spices, rice, and succulent meat or veggies is something that any Biryani lover should experience. The authenticity of their dishes is undeniably rooted in the use of fresh ingredients, ensuring each bite is both flavorful and memorable.
The ambiance of the restaurant adds to the overall dining experience. The space is generously sized with thoughtfully spaced seating, allowing patrons to have private conversations and truly savor their meals. For those looking to pair their meals with drinks, the full bar caters to a variety of preferences.
Service is another feather in the cap for Bawarchi. The staff were attentive, ensuring our dining experience went off without a hitch. However, a small piece of feedback for the owner: Engaging with patrons goes a long way in enhancing the overall dining experience. An open laptop and a distant demeanor can come off as slightly aloof. A few interactions with the customers can add warmth and a personal touch, making diners feel even more valued.
In conclusion, Bawarchi Indian Cuisine deserves high praise for the flavors and authenticity they bring to the table. When it comes to food, they rightfully earn a perfect score of 5 out of 5. Whether you're a local or just passing through Sparks, NV, make it a point to indulge in the rich culinary offerings at Bawarchi. You won't be...

I am Indian American (originally from New York city and NJ) and love a good traditionally and authentically prepared 'Biriyani'.
Every region of India 🇮🇳 has their own versions of Biriyani prepared based on local tastes, ingredients, and traditions.
The Southern Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (Both of these states were one state until recently partitioned into two separate states) are well-known in India to specialize in the Biriyani version called 'Dum' style.
Chicken and Goat versions 🐐 are, traditionally, the meats used for the Biriyani.
I chose the Ulavacharu goat Biriyani version offered from the Biriyani styles list.
The Biriyani was really good and bought to my memory the nostalgia of having tasted this specific flavor and taste of masala spices mix on many occasions when I visit southern India 🇮🇳 and dine at some of the restaurants that cook these types of dishes.
The flavor was really authentic in the masala spices ingredients it used to bring out these specific and authentic flavors that I recall.
The second dish that I had was a Masala dosa from the Dosa's list. It was good, but the dosa crepe was a bit too thick for my preference. I like the rice batter crepe to be thinner. The potatoes and spices filling was a bit bland and could have used a tad more flavor.
The sambhar and chutneys for the Masala dosa were good and tasted authentic enough for me.
The service given was good by the 2 Mexican young ladies who served me.
If you are a patron of good and authentically prepared varieties of Indian Biriyanis, then this Indian restaurant is far the better choice for it in the...

Dinner here was a fantastic surprise! Spicy Goat and Lamb Curry with Fire Naan and rice... perfect amount of spice and flavor.
The menu was a bit daunting so I went in search of familiar proteins. My husband, however, looked like a deer caught the headlights. One thing I would like to note: I noticed a lot of gluten free menu items but I did not ask about their ability to handle the special handling/prep people with Celiac Disease require for the safety of their health. Anywho... my husband and I were completely clueless on what to order, though I knew I wanted the goat right off! The gentleman who sat us offered suggestions based on what my husband said he preferred.
Originally, we didn't order the rice even though it was being strongly hinted that we do so. Shame on us! In the end, we ended up getting the rice and it was exactly what we needed. My husband loved his lamb curry and said that it was the perfect amount of spice and the lamb itself didn't have a greasy texture. My goat curry was amazing! My only problem is that it was difficult to eat. It was full of little shards of bones. I expected chunks of bone but not little tiny shards. I would 100% order it again, though. This is the first goat meat I've had where it was nice and tender and not "goaty".
For dessert I had some sort of milk curd/cake at the suggestion of the young woman working there that evening. It was incredibly sweet and rich. The consistency caught me at first but once I ignored that input it became a lovely, mouth-cooling experience. Exactly what was needed after a spicy meal. It was so rich I was unable to finish it!
We absolutely will be...
