DoughBoys Donuts — Restaurant in Sparks

nut allergies Not wanting to leave a bad review, just a warning to other customer and hopefully something that can be fixed in store before there’s an issue. Went to the sparks location today and order one of their large cinnamon rolls. They told me right off the bat there either walnut or raisin. I had asked that there were not walnuts at all in the raisin one because I’m allergic, and the confirmed there wasn’t. They are stored right next to each other which is fine for me cause it’s only a problem if I bite in to them. About half way through the roll there were more walnuts than dough and couldn’t even pick through them to finish it because there was barely anything more. I called the location and just asked them to make sure this was fixed for people who might have way more severe reactions. Employee was genuinely apologetic and concerned, and said she’d let a manager know. My family and I love this location and plan on continuing to go. I just hope this can hopefully help guarantee this can be fixed so no one else has a lot Dr...

I placed an order at the northwest Reno location on Friday afternoon. Pick up was to be at 7:30 this morning for five dozen donuts that had already been pre-paid for. I arrived to find the Northwest Reno location locked up with a note saying they were doing floor repairs today and tomorrow. They had my contact information and no one reached out to let me know that there had been an issue so that I could make other plans for my order or get a refund. Instead, I called the Sparks location, David answered and said he would get me taken care of. I made the 20 minute drive to pick up my order. He greeted me promptly with a smile by name, helped me carry the order out to my car and then let me know that during my drive he had also contacted the owner, who happens to own both locations, and that she wanted my number to speak with me regarding the mishap. If I could give David 10 stars for his customer service, I absolutely would! Thanks for saving my morning and making sure my company meeting went off...

I never thought I'd review a donut shop.. I very rarely will eat a donut.. probably one every 3 years or so... I'm just not a huge fan of them. We had never had doughboys before. We ordered a dozen plus 2 wolf paws. They were out of the wolf paws so they dipped two regular donuts in blue and chocolate. My daughter couldn't decide which one she wanted and took a bite out of all of them. She loved every one (obvs... Shes a toddler eating a sugary pastry). I chose the blue.. even though it wasn't the wolf paw I ordered.. I'm sure the wolf paw is just a donut shaped like a paw print or something... So I can assume they taste exactly the same.... This donut has probably changed how often I will eat them.. they will now become something we order regularly. I'm disappointed that I now have something I will crave as often as my daughter does and I hope it doesn't become too much of a problem. Thank/shame on you...
