Del Taco — Restaurant in Sparks

Good old del Taco I've been going there for many years. And out of the years of going to fast food restaurants when you usually take in one of their own cups and ask them how much for a refill and the girl tells you different amounts at different times you go in. At one point I went in with a del Taco cup I asked how much for a refill the same girl tells me that she needs to charge me the same price as a new cup even though I'm using my same old cup to try and prevent plastic from being put into landfills. And yet I get no replies from their customer service it's really sad that a company charges you the same price when you use an old cup to save trash from the landfills aren't we trying to do our part to save this planet and companies put profits before that? I went into del Taco february 28th 2024 I order for del tacos a large french fry and a beef and bean burrito it took them 8 minutes to get that food waiting on French fries the tacos were in the bag and no shells get soggy fast I get home the meets falling out of taco shells The beef & Bean burrito has beans only.for the price we're paying for this food is ridiculous to get people that just can't do their jobs right and these companies are putting profits over what people are paying to get. I stopped eating at McDonald's for over 28 years because corporate told me it was impossible to get a bone in their chicken sandwich. Whoever that man was on the phone in corporate told me I was a liar when I know what I bit into so I didn't eat McDonald's for over 28 years not that they care so I can do the same to del Taco if they want to continue with overpricing on cups when you use the same one or you pay for food and you don't get what you order all of us have gone through that. This is suppose to be a refund for terrible service starting at the drive thru manager Laura M is very rude and needs to learn to control her eyeballs and tone her drive thru girl today was taught by Laura M same eyeball rolling attitude from her just for asking if they heard us say chicken snacker I have had enough of people like Laura M teaching their employees this behavior by acting this way also bad store bad people good luck finding decent humans that are worried about being fired so that they will be good employees Laura M said get me fired I don't care so this is the start of many ways to see to it she learns a lesson so that either a. She will not behave this way again with her next job because she needs a job or B. It keeps her from getting hired anywhere else no one should have to deal with rudeness in any form when trying to get a meal. One should not eat upset and if by the time they take your order you are already mad do not bother to even stop at the window eat where people want to feed you a good meal served with a friendly attitude and most importantly a smile I have yet to find that place here in Sparks or Reno let me know if you know of such a place this place is not it and the food sucks and is microwaved. I went here with my husband on saturday 08/30/2025 around 9:45 pm. At the time we arrived drive thru had a very long line and there where three different tables inside waiting for food. We ordered from inside and ended up waiting approximately 20 mins for food. All the customers before us were handed their food nicely with the order number called out. When it came to our order it was set roughly on the counter and nothing more was said. I approached the counter and asked if it was my order and was told the lobby is closed and had been closed so take my food and go. I ordered in the lobby and was asked if it was for here or to go. I said to dine in. So i politely told the rude female employee that said this, that we were never told that and this is the first we heard of it. There were other people in the lobby eating their food so I politely told her we would leave after we eat. I dont know what her problem was but she should be reprimanded for being so rude. Never spoke to her before my food was ready so I dont know why she treated me like garbage. I will tell everyone I know about how terrible she was and to not frequent this establishment.
