Little Pigs BBQ — Restaurant in Spartanburg

I don't normally write reviews but I felt I had to warn others who would unknowingly waste their hard earned money at this place. I went here for the first time because I had a tast for barbeque. I walked in and looked at the lady at the counter she glared at me and looked back down. No hello, no can I help you- nothing. Now I understand if you are busy but at least tell your customer you will be with them in a moment or something. Then as I wallked to the counter to give my order she walked off. The next girl who came over said are you waiting for an order, I said well I have not place one as no one has taken my order. I ordered a half a rack of ribs, the only good thing is that they were very tender BUT, they had noooooo seasoning or flavor whatsoever. They came with a good sauce on the side but that was it.

I am all about supporting small businesses but at least try to be friendly to your customers. I have worked in customer service and no matter how bad my day was going I always treated my next customer with respect and hospitality. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE - AS THERE ARE OTHER RESTAURANTS IN THIS AREA THAT KNOW HOW TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND ACTUALLY...

Me and my family just left and I ordered another sandwich after my food came out cause I was still hungry. I never got the sandwich the staff was preoccupied with there own personal lives rather than the job at hand. I wasn't sure if we had a server or not cause after we got our food we wasn't checked on. So we filled up our own drinks and the Mac was spoiled. I'm a cook myself so I understand things happen during prep that cam cause it to happen. But my brisket sandwich was good. When I paid I told the girl nobody gave me my sandwich and she offered to have it remade and not charge me for it but I didn't have time to wait and instead of saying ok and ringing me up her and the guy cashier held a full conversation and taking for ever to cash me out. So service wasn't great. But I'll be back when the adults are working. I didn't feel like complaining cause like I said I'm in the industry but I give honest reviews and I always tip 10 to 15 bucks this is the first time in years I didn't tip. Tuesday 7:15pm October 7, 2025. We ordered a Chopped Brisket sandwich plate and a Jumbo Chopped Pork sandwich plate. Asked for my brisket to be finely chopped. The brisket was in big chunks and was mostly burnt ends, only they all were tough and dried out and tasted like charcoal. My sides were collards and baked beans. Both had a hot seasoning in it that burned in the mouth. Not good, especially for little children. Jumbo pork was also dry and tasted like it was smoked, pulled onto strings and left in smoker until served. It was inedible. The slaw was terrible and the mac and cheese was dried out and had no flavor. Our young waitress never came back to the table to see if we needed drink refills so we got up and got them ourselves. Husband paid 44.00 and change for those plates and we couldn't eat it. We left all of it for them to see. Husband did tell the woman at counter when he paid for it.
