Food was good! I was out of town with my mom. And was looking for a place to eat on the way back home.And saw Southern Barbeque the women were nice and the food was good ordered barbeque plate and the barbeque was tender and tasty and your personal barbeque sauce with pepper and sweet smoke tast is the best sauce ive tasted at a sc barbeque restaurant . Grew up with mustard base sauce. In Sc.But Yall's personal sauce is really good. Ive eaten at Sonny's Barbeque in Rock Hill,Sheally's Barbeque in Batesburg-Leesville.Berries Patch Barbeque in Prosperity this restaurant is no longer there it is now turned into sea food.Little Pigs in Columbia,Marecies barbeque in West Columbia,True barbeque in West Columbia,Belly's barbeque in Lexington,Hudson's Barbeque in Lexington,Jo Jo'S Backyard barbeque in Lancaster. And Farm Boys Barbeque in Chapin.Out of all these for taste and tenderness and sauce all put together I put Southern Barbeque in the top 3 of my favorites out of this list Southern Barbeque,Shealy's Barbeque And Little Pigs....

Visited 1/27/21., around 7PM. (FYI: No employees were wearing masks, not even in kitchen.) Ordered combo plate to go: ribs, pulled pork, slaw, subbed stew instead of fries, hush puppies. Half rack not fall-off-the-bone style but pretty good and not dried out. Pulled pork was also pretty good and not dry. Slaw was not my style; it was vinegary and not sweet. Stew was very good with nice balance of meat, veggies. Hush puppies were really good. Server said potato salad and onion rings are good so it might warrant another trip to try those. We recently moved to the area. I've tried Southern Barbecue a few times now and so far it is my favorite BBQ place in the area after visiting several others. Really good barbecue and good sized portions on everything. I go here for lunch at least once a week. The service is always fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. The food is always out in good time and hot. I do a lot of call-in orders, too, and it is ready within 5-minutes 9 out of 10 times.
