Pizza is either burnt very badly or not cooked all the way through. There is no in between. Not to mention all the toppings fall off. Hoagies are burned as well. Steak is non existent on it. Lettuce will be your major topping. Save your money, order Armando's. Trust me.
Edit: It's now april 20th 2023, I returned once again to get a steak hoagie today. Review: Had more steak on the hoagie finally, I only got onions, steak and mayo. Could have put more steak on there since I wasn't getting anything else. Aside from that. Hoagie bun was fresh, and had a nice crunch to it, the very ends weren't burned, but were hard. After finishing an entire hoagie my jaw hurt. I had fries as well. The fries were good, had no salt though. Also I noticed when I bit into the bread, it tasted like beer kind of.
Overall; the quality has improved. Steak could use more flavor, fries need salt, and the bun should be toasted alot less longer. Good job finally giving adequate amounts of food. For that I take my 1 star rating and now give you a 3.
Update June 12 2023 - Went back for another hoagie and fries. This is the last time I order here. Poor quality again. This time they switched the steak to steak-um meat (I can taste it clear as day) and the french fries tasted like literal cooking oil and were burned. The owner does this with ingredients to save money all the time, you'll notice the cheese is different some nights too. Anything to save a buck. Going to pass on food from campys now on. Not consistent. I usually order here and armandos, atleast armandos stays consistent with their...
Read moreOrdered our food at 6:30, I was told it would be an hour, maybe less. 7:50 rolls around and still nothing, so I call. The girl on the phone says "well, I don't know who you talked to but they should have said an hour and fifteen but she's leaving now". Okay, for starters, I talked to you but whatever.
Finally, at 8:30 our food shows up. 2 hours after I ordered. 30 minutes after my kids should have been in bed. 20 minutes after it should have been there had she left when they said.
The calzone was burnt. The pizza was burnt. The fries were cold, both orders. Not like sat in a car for 30 minutes cold, more like they've been sitting on the counter all day cold and chewy. It was nasty.
Would not recommend. I understand it snowed less than an inch today, but the roads were cleared hours ago. My husband drives delivery for his aunt's pizza place when the snow gets bad and drivers can't make it. Short of the snowpocolyspe, my food shouldn't have taken 2 hours and the 1.5 mile drive to my house shouldn't have taken 30 minutes. Regardless of the snow, my dood...
Read moreVisited here to get pizza on July 29, 2020. First off he refused to give us free water even though we were spending 15+ dollars on pizza there. He suggests the vending machine for a drink. Then double bills my Credit card (charges me twice) and says don’t worry about it, the charges will go away in 24 hours. 3 days later I call and say both the charges were posted to my CC and he did not back the one fraudulent charge out. He says he “forgot” and we agree that he will send the funds on Paypal. He finally sends the funds after a week and I had to file a fraud claim on my CC to get him to even do that. The owner of Campy’s is extremely forgetful at best or a criminal at worst. I would avoid using credit cards at this location due to possible criminal activity.
The pizza was above average for the Mon Valley but the inside tables were not cleared off for eating, there was a mess and beer bottles / cases all over the tables.
Campy’s Pizza in Belle Veron failed to meet my expectations of honesty and professionalism...
