I’m normally a tattoo artist jumper and don’t stick to one artist. When I got the rework done around my oldest daughter’s name and a complete rework of what I previously had all around her name. I knew right away that this was my new shop and new artist. The atmosphere of the shop is so comfortable to be in and around all of the artists at the shop. This is the 1st time in idk how long that I’ve actually liked the atmosphere and all of the artists in a shop. I also got the top of my arm redone and multiple tattoos from Amanda Pozzi, I have been pierced by Steph and didn’t feel uncomfortable with showing her how awful that my piercing was and she pierced my other side and I’ve seen the work that Brett does. All of these artists are amazing and there’s no other tattoo/piercing shop that I would rather go to. I also got a leg sleeve by Amanda and I’ve received so many compliments on all of the tattoos that I’ve had done by Amanda. This is by far the best shop that I’ve ever been too. They all make you feel...
Read moreI called Abstract immediately after getting a poorly placed industrial piercing at a prominent studio in Pittsburgh. The bar was too short, the ball was pressing into my head, and it was worse when my glasses were on. The pressure was intense.
Steph was done for the day but waited for me to get to their shop to remove my industrial before it got any worse. Steph could tell immediately that it was an issue and would only get worse and removed it for me. I am very grateful for that.
I'm only giving a four star because I haven't had any work done here. When I am ready to try to get an industrial again (or any other piercing) I will be scheduling with Steph (the fact that she could tell it was placed wrong is a big plus in my book when looking for a piercer) and am currently looking into Brett's work as well.
Seriously guys, thank you so much. You saved me from a very painful...
Read moreI cannot say enough good about Amanda at Abstract Tattoo! She listened to me and my requests and worked me into a flash pop up, at my fabulous home of Burn Bootcamp Murrysville, where her and I messaged a few time before to get a unique creation just for me. While there we had a bit of a power outage and instead of panic and cancel we simply relocated, re-sanitized, and got back to work. Though it wasn’t work at all, it was like having lunch with a friend turned family. We checked and rechecked and checked again to make sure placement, numbers, and design were just right. Super clean, super talented, and overall fairly priced and receptive to my idea (despite changing my mind a few times and adding a little)
