Dippin Donuts — Restaurant in Spencer

I've been here several times & usually have had pretty positive experiences. Staff is friendly & enthusiastic. Orders are made quickly & accurately almost always. They have a wide variety of menu choices & coffee flavors. They also have other beverages for those who may not drink coffee or caffeinated beverages, such as milkshakes & fruit smoothies. I recently tried a raspberry smoothie that was delicious! I also like that they have items you won't find at Dunkin', such as chocolate cruellers & bismarck's. For those of you who aren't familiar, bismarck's are a long donut (think crueller shape) with jelly inside, covered with a white vanilla frosting & topped with sprinkles. Great if you have an appetite or sweet tooth, or perfect for sharing with one or more people. I can't get over how many different flavors they have for both hot & iced coffees. Only complaint is that many times I've ordered flavored hot coffee from any Dippin', I've noticed that it is usually served luke warm instead of hot. However, when I've complained, they have offered to remake it or heat it up. Would recommend! Parking is plentiful, but this is often a difficult parking lot to pull out of. Restrooms available for customers. Prices are very fair also. Location easy to find, directly across from Dairy Queen. Not far from Walmart...

The BEST doughnuts, coffee and tea I have had in a long time. This little chain is 100% worth the stop! Friendly staff, good prices and clean facilities to top it off. I am a big fan of the French crawler and what other chains do to that poor donut is criminal, but this place treats it with love and care and I can say in my opinion they make the best in the entire New England area. With a light firmness to the outside and a yielding sweet inside this donut is as dam near perfect as you can get. My husband ordered the smores ice coffee and he absolutely loved it. I myself ordered a large plain ice tea with sugar and you would think that would be an easy order but most places really just let their T fall to the wayside and serve watered down nastiness. I can tell that this place actually took some time to make sure that the tea was brewed slowly and evenly. We will be back if we are ever in...

I prefer Dippin over Dunkin. The coffee is much better.

My issue is with the pricing. I 100% understand and see the sign that says premium flavors are $1.00 more. However, my coffee today, which I expected to be around $6.00 tops, was TEN DOLLARS. I don't even pay that for premium drinks at small cafes or Starbucks.

The hidden charges included an undisclosed $2.00 for less ice because of the size of iced coffee I got. I think the premium flavor was also more than $1.00 again because of the size I got. Then, because I used my card, it automatically adds a 50 cent fee.

It should not be a huge surprise when someone goes to pay. I honestly thought I misheard the girl as I have in the past. But when when I saw $10.00 on my receipt, I was floored.
