Village Pizza — Restaurant in Spencer

Some of the worst pizza and service I've ever had.

My friend and I were just passing through Spencer and stopped here, debating if we wanted to stop for food at all. The woman taking our order at the counter was all smiles when we came in, and assured us that the pizza would take "6 minutes maximum". Note - we were the ONLY customers in the restaurant the entire time we were there.

After waiting for 25 minutes and watching a large beetle crawl across the floor of the dining area, I finally caught the attention of a woman working there. I shrugged and said, "A couple more minutes, maybe?" - hoping for some sort of assurance that our food was on the way. Instead, she scoffed, rolled her eyes, and said "sure, I dunno" and stormed into the back. Another 5 minutes later, she returned and practically threw our pizza onto our table, then stomped back into the kitchen in a huff. The pizza was overcooked and extremely dry. This used to be my favorite place until tonight! I will never bring my business to this establishment ever again. Today's service was sooooo bad!

Delivery took an hour, I had to call them to see what the delay was. They had the wrong address and wrong phone number. After providing it during the begining of our call.

Our pizza and fries were cold and soggy... The sandwhich was made incorrectly and they didnt deliver our drinks.

I called them to complain. A man answered and handed the phone to a woman without even saying a thing about it. The woman on the phone I beleive is the manager or owner. She was extremely rude and mean. She yelled at me to wait so she can see what address im calling about. She refused to refund the items that werent delivered and had no remorse of sending cold and soggy food. This woman was rude and not professional in one bit. Village pizza charged me for item that werent delivered and they refused to refund me or compesate for their lowsy service and disgusting food.

I've been meaning to write this review for a while now. I stopped into Village Pizza this week again and was reminded by the upbeat friendly atmosphere and another fantastic experience that I should really get on it, so here goes.... There is somthing about walking into a local place, feeling welcome and knowing that your order is going to be made the way you like it! We are always searching for great pizza and taziki sauce made perfectly. We found it here! We have never ordered anything we did not enjoy. The owner is kind, welcoming and makes us glad we stopped by. She always has a smile and a little banter while we wait. We see her talking and laughing with all of her customers making them feel at home. The staff have always been polite, accurate and quick with our orders. Hungry?
