I don't know if it's just today or something, but there was a different manager and she was extremely rude. Normally we have a good experience at this location with the other workers but today was something else. First off, there was a long line so we were automatically a lot more understanding with them since we know it's probably hectic in there trying to fill everyone's orders. But, we get to the menu and the lady taking our order is so rude, she says she can't hear us and when we are literally yelling our order and she has a huge attitude issue. We get up to the window and the manager comes to the window and tells us that we need to speak up when they tell us they can't hear us because the speaker is under the car and a lot of people think it's up near the speaker box (where it should be) but it isnt and she rudely relays that if the girl told us she couldn't hear us, we should've spoke up. And then decides to throw on "okay, honey?" at the end like rude older women do to mask their bad attitude. Maybe they should get the speaker fixed then??? Instead of demanding people scream out their orders? I keep my mouth shut, repeating in my head that theres a long line so they probably had a bad morning. She closes the window and my husband and I discuss that they should probably fix the speaker and that today everyone's really rude, they must've heard me because it got worse from there. Then they go on to tell me they don't have sesame bagels, I say an everything bagel is okay then. They proceed to give us everything we ordered but the bagel. And I'm telling you people, they did it on purpose because how would they know exactly what to tell the worker that fixed our order what was missing. The line was extremely long so we waited at the front door and someone brings out the bag with a newly made bagel that we watched them make therefore they didn't even bother to make the bagel and they knew exactly what was missing to tell a worker who wasnt even involved in the situation before to make. Neither of the women involved bothered to come out with the bagel because they all had an attitude that we even came back for it and passed the task off to someone else. Review: On January 23, 2024, my visit to Dunkin Donuts at the Big Y Plaza in Spencer, MA took an unexpected turn. While getting coffee, a company hired by Dunkin Donuts was cutting concrete, resulting in concrete dust damaging the side of my recently purchased car. Despite reaching out to the manager asking to speak with the owner, the owner refused to engage directly with me and insisted on communication through the manager.
After numerous attempts, the manager finally contacted me, but the resolution offered fell short. A mere twenty-five dollar gift card was proposed for the significant six hundred dollars worth of damage to my car. Disappointed with the handling of the situation and the inadequate compensation. She would bark back to my dad saying there's "no mobile order" when he would say my name and I would 100% know I would put it in for this branch. She was even seen not even looking to check for my name. Only to be told by her coworker that there is an order for me. Kudos to that worker. Thank you.
Today I can say that the EXACT thing happened today.
I walked in to grab it. No order. Told the same lady I'm here for my mobile order to be told "there is no mobile order" without her checking anything. The other worker actually goes to search and finds my order. Kudos to that worker for looking because I would've been denied my order if she was there by herself.
