Javi's Grill — Restaurant in Spirit Lake

I love Javi's Grill - it's my favorite low-key, unassuming breakfast spot in the Lakes. Menu has all the breakfast essentials plus a really good lunch menu as well. If you're a fan of comfort food/Americana/home cooking, this is the spot. If you eat-in, the staff is always welcoming and friendly, and they're just as accommodating if you're getting your food to go. You can't go wrong with anything on Javi's menu, which is posted in-full on their Facebook page. I'm a bit partial to the biscuits and sausage gravy, pancakes and hashbrowns or their chicken fried steak, but EVERYTHING...

Very delicious food and you get plenty of it. Breakfast served all day everyday. We never been here before and we googled it so we thought we'd give it a try and we were not disappointed we came back a couple times that very weekend. And we plan to come back when we're in the area again. We had the hot roast beef mashed potatoes and gravy special very very good. We also tried the breakfast all of it was so good, the pancakes are huge the breakfast portion is awesome you get a lot of everything for your buck, the burgers and fries...

This may very well be my new favorite breakfast spot in the lakes area! The buildings and entrance are very subtle, but the food certainly is not. The ingredients are fresh, giving dishes plenty of flavor and quality. Portion sizes are absolutely massive!

The service was okay - I think it would probably have been better but the place was absolutely packed. Prices are very competitive if not cheaper than many other breakfast cafes...
