Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Spirit Lake

We don’t have a Jersey Mike’s where I live, so I made sure that we went there when I was back visiting family. I was VERY impressed with this location. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the food is always fresh. I truly appreciated the woman that took my order. She was the perfect example of what a manager would pray their staff acted like. She was very friendly, accommodating to my lengthy TikTok order, made small talk, etc. She told me she loved working at this location, but was driving nearly an hour commute just to do so, so she only had two weeks left there. Talk about a loss. No matter who is taking your order, if you haven’t tried it since it is fairly new in the area, you definitely should! I loved the fresh cold cut sandwich I ordered, but I snagged a bite of my dad‘s Philly cheesesteak and that was incredible as well.

The place was busy. Right people ahead of me. I ordered simple Ham and Provolone sub. One person on the main slicer. One on the front assembly line, one at the cash register. 3:people working in the grill area, and one floating appearing to be bagging call in orders. My order to delivery time was just a few seconds under 5 minutes. No mustard in the sss mbly area. Only shredded iceberg lettuce for greens. Tomatoes, onions and pickles available but that's all. Tables dirty, server with beard. No net on chin, a young female cooking with a ponytail down to her belt , She forgot to cut our sub. Also forgot the mayo, these are considered health code violations and the two corporate phone numbers to the franchise or unavailable. I guess they also have no soliciting sign on the outside of the building question...
