I don't usually write reviews, but my experience at this Wendyâs in Greenacres, WA, left me so frustrated that I felt compelled to share. I placed a mobile order through the app, as Iâve done countless times before, and selected the âDine Inâ option. After leaving a car show nearby with my dad, we stopped by and noticed the store had more employees than usualâat least 10. It seemed like they were prepping for a car show rush, yet the restaurant was relatively empty, with some employees just watching others work.
After waiting longer than expected, I decided to check the mobile pickup shelf to see if there had been a mistake with my order. Sure enough, there were our two bags and drinks sitting on the shelf, even though I had selected "Dine In." They had bagged our order instead of calling our name and serving it on a tray. When I picked up the bags, an employee confronted me, clearly upset that I had grabbed my own food. At first, I thought he was joking, but then he insisted that I prove the order was mine before he would give it to me. This was baffling, as this is the same blue shelf where youâre supposed to grab your "To Go" orders at every other Wendyâs.
I put the food back, showed him my mobile order on my phone, and let him hand it to me. Needless to say, we didnât dine in and ended up taking our food to go. When I explained that I had been waiting for quite some time and expected a dine-in experience, he simply told me I should have asked if my order was ready so they could hand it to me.
This entire interaction was unnecessary and frustrating. Hopefully, this review helps others know what to expect at...

Was impressed with the speed of service and the food quality. Took my son in for a lunch treat and we enjoyed it!
Great job
2nd visit -UPDATED REVIEW 9/6/19 12:18pm
The stars will reflect my 2 visits to this place.
Drive through the drive thru cars were moving everything is great and I get to the order station and order chili cheese fries, then order a cheeseburger.
The person on the other end proceeds to ring up a daves single for 4.99$ (THIS IS NOT A CHEESEBURGER)
I replyed back I need just a cheeseburger. I get some spill about their protocol is to always treat the single as a cheeseburger. This is not true! They have a cheesburger on the value menu. Anyways she is still talking Its apparent I didnt want the 4.99$ one and shes like "which one did you want?" I said figure it out.
Anyone with some common sense knows a cheeseburger is a patty and cheese hence "cheeseburger" not lettuce tomatoe etc. Im not gonna get charged 4.99 when i can go down the road and get one for 1$ at mc ds.
Anyways long story short it takes 3 people at one window to fix the order (minusing out the daves single and adding a value cheeseburger...)
If there are 2 options and I dont like that you initially ASSUMED I wanted a 4.99$ cheeseburger than which option do you think i meant? Come on!! Common sense people.... Guess it aint as common as I thought.
Anyways great day so far and after me having tell them 5 times i just want a cheap cheeseburger my lunch break has angered me.
Visit 1 is the reason I came back. Visit 2 is reason I wont waste my...
Read moreI like this one, it only gets small demerits for having a Laundromat connected to it. And the traffic flow near the exit of the drive thru isnât the best planning. But orders are reliable and the people are getting it done.
One time I even think these people saved my life. You see, my drivers side door had a short in the automatic window. And when I reached out to grab my drinks, the window rolled up faster than I could pull my hand back in. So I got my wrist pinned in between the edge of the window and the soft inside part of my wrist.
It was not fun. I had no leverage to push the window down, I thought I was going to live the rest of my life stuck in my Hyundai car door with a Diet Cherry Vanilla Coke in my hand.
But the Wendyâs people, let me tell you - they really stayed calm. They asked if I I lowered the window, or course so I explained calmly that I was stuck due to a short in the doors electrical window motor.
So after several minutes of holding up the line and getting honked at, the window released itâs bite on me. And I was grateful that I got a refill on the Diet Cherry Vanilla Coke for free as I went on with my evening to enjoy a classic Son of a Baconator.
The Wendyâs was very calm and kind. I would eat here 100...
